No I was just providing a list of contracts I knew about.

Add to that Skacel who signed in July 2006 on a 4 year deal. So another whose contract is not up at the end of the season

Ah ok then.

I think Davis, Euell, BWP, John, Perry, Smith, Svensson for definite.

Did Skacel sign a 3 year deal when he joined? If so, that's him as well.

With Skacel that's eight. Can anyone think of the others?

Nope Skacel was a 4 year deal.

I've named eight and the final two I think are from: Jeffrey Immudia, Jamie Hatch, Kyle Davies and or Michael Byrne.

I'm surprised Thomson hasn't been offered a new deal yet. JP seems to like him and Wotte has even been trying him out as a centre back! Surely we can afford his wages?

Rudi Skacel then, I was right:

Southampton full-back Rudi Skacel doubts whether he will be at the Championship club next season.

The Czech Republic midfielder, who has found himself at left-back for The Saints this term, is out of contract at St Mary's this summer.

Southampton are currently second-from-bottom in the table and Skacel believes Jan Poortvliet often fields starting XIs containing too many youngsters.

When asked what his future is at Southampton he told deniksport.cz: "Honestly, I don't know.

Here are the 10 out of contract in the summer:

Kelvin Davis

Chris Perry

Joseph Mills

Jason Euell

Jake Thomson

Bradley Wright-Phillips

Jamie White

Stern John

Ryan Smith

Michael Svensson

Out of the 10 I'd keep them all on....barring Euell and as much as I hate to say it, Svensson.

I'd of thought the youngster would be offered new deals. I doubt the rest will simply because we can't afford anyone these days.

We could cope with losing most of those, but I wince at the thought we could lose Kel Davis on a free in the summer. No wonder some are speculating Rupee may try to sell him this month. Perish the thought.

And did we sign Forecast on a deal? I thought he was only on loan. I may have missed an announcement?

Thanks for all the replies. I've also since found this website:

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/verein/180/fc-southampton/kader/transferdaten.html

It indicates the end date for contracts are as follows:

1 Kelvin Davis- Website says 30.06.2008 but Echo says end of season

2 Chris Perry - 30.06.2009

3 Wayne Thomas - 30.06.2010

4 Marek Saganowksi - 30.06.2010

6 Michael Svensson - 30.06.2009

7 Rudi Skacel - 30.06.2010

8 Bradley Wright-Phillips - 30.06.2009

9 Grzegorz Rasiak - 30.06.2010

10 Paul Wotton - 30.06.2010

11 Andrew Surman - 30.06.2011

12 Lee Holmes - 30.06.2011

13 Tommy Forecast - 30.06.2013

14 Stern John - 30.06.2009

15 Jason Euell - 30.06.2009

16 Romain Gasmi (on loan) - 30.06.2009

17 David McGoldrick - 30.06.2012

18 Nathan Dyer - 30.06.2011

19 Morgan Schneiderlin - 30.06.2013

20 Adam Lallana - Website says 31.12.2009 but extended to 2011 (OS)

21 Jamie Hatch - 30.06.2009

22 Simon Gillett - Website says 30.06.2008 but OS indicates 30.06.2010 with 1 year option (OS)

23 Lloyd James - 30.06.2009

24 Oliver Lancashire - 30.06.2010

25 Michael Poke Not listed but OS says 30.06.2010

26 Jake Thomson - 30.06.2009

27 Kyle Davies - 30.06.2010

28 Bartosz Bialkowski - 30.06.2012

29 Jeffrey Imudia - Not listed

32 Andrej Pernecky - Not listed

33 Joseph Mills - 30.06.2009

34 Jamie White - 30.06.2009

35 Matthew Paterson - 30.06.2009

36 Michael Byrne - 30.06.2009

37 Oscar Gobern - Not listed but OS article indicates 30.06.2011

39 Ryan Smith - 30.06.2009

40 Anthony Pulis - 30.06.2010

42 Kayne McLaggon - 30.06.2010

43 Lee Molyneux - 30.06.2011

- Jack Boyle - Not listed on website. OS article indicates 30.06.2009

This is largely in line with Weston Saint's list except that it indicates that, as well as Gasmi (loan expires) and Boyle (only on 6 month contract), Hatch, James, Paterson and Byrne are also all out of contract. But the website is clearly not fully accurate so some of these may have had contract extensions that the website has missed.

Nice to see our vaunted young "stars" of the future have been tied down to long term deals :-p

Well, I was hoping for a link to the OS announcement really, rather than you saying "yes, I said so above".

I'm more trustworthy than the OS mate.
