Like or Thanks button ?

This forum is desperately missing a Like or Thanks button, something to show the appreciation or quality of a post / reply.

 

In the past I think plugin's or extensions were required to add this to vBulletin, however it appears that from v5 onwards it may now have a native 'reputation' system in it ?

Not going to implement it on this version of the forum - we will be moving to new forum software in the not-too-distant future (hopefully this year), and that feature will be available there.

It's available, I just chose to initially get everything set up with a similar feature set to the old place first.

It's probably something we'll trial shortly, mainly to get an idea of some of the negative knock-on effects that might come from such a system.

Can we have an unlike button too, and if more than say...10 'unlikes' the post gets automatically deleted? Would clean up a lot of the threads.

No. All that would do is result in ganging up on certain people whenever they post, regardless of the validity of what they're written.
