According to Le Tiss tonight (Night with Matt Le Tiss at Concord club - Question and answer session) he thinks we are done with transfers both in and out for this window...... He had just spent the day with the manager and players at Staplewood. Although he did say he hoped we would go in for any class players that became available.

Just me that thought Puel came across well in the interview then....

 

I like what I have seen so far actually, positive about the season ahead new signings or not.

 

No it's not just you. Really looking forward to tomorrow and feeling really positive. Think we've upgraded the manager and the midfield (Hojbjerg is class) but do concede that we could well miss Mane. However don't think Redmond is as far short of that standard as many on here would have us believe.

 

It's gonna be a good season people !!!

I reckon the mystery signing is Berahino

I would say that we have been interested before his stop a year ago and been in contact with WBA since.

You are just full of ****e. I have been club historian since 1997 since Brian Truscott offered me that position. It was never taken away despite the fact Lowe and I fell out. Unlike you toady that you are, I am not afraid to criticise when I disagree with the way the club is run. You seem to be a doff the hat pleb who thinks your cosy world will end if anyone dares to protest. You probably think the earth is flat and anyone who thinks otherwise should be shot. And your obsession with Lawrie Mac is positively unhealthy, but I know one thing, if you bumped into him in the street you'd probably curtsey. You are nothing more than keyboard warrior who knows the square root of eff all.

Berahino could make a good central striker for someone, but as we're not having one of those, trying to persuade him to track a fullback would be a fools errand. Maybe Ings.

I came on here for random speculation, (plus the classic TSW distraction of off-topic over-eager positivity and ridiculously bleak predictions of utter despair), not to watch us turn on our own. (If we so that it should be strictly on a Wetters versus Goons basis).

 

Anyone/thing today would be good just to lift the mood a little; contract extension, a world class Keagan type signing or even Robin Fridays pickled corpse, anything.

Him and Wilkins. Adkins basically 'won' League 1 as nobody scored more points over his tenure after he has appointed. Especially when you consider how tough it was staying ahead of Huddersfield, I think we won 13 of the last 15 or something.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis still has Saido Berahino available Saturday’s Premier League opener at Crystal Palace.

 

Berahino has been the subject of bids from Palace and Stoke this summer, but he could still run out for the Baggies at Selhurst Park with a resolution over his future seemingly way off.

I don't think so, when I share the contract info in my previous posts I was never told it was a secret, just something the club are pressing on with. Mane & Victor turned down their offers with all the others now having signed.

Not at the time I was told, no.

 

This was pre Euro's so it may(probably) has since changed.

Could be a mole hunt of sorts? Plant different stories with various suspects, and you can tell who leaked information based on the story/rumour that gets out.
