Saint in Paradise Posted 29 February, 2016 Share Posted 29 February, 2016 Could well be that this is a one off but just in case check your babies car seats. A New Zealand company is pulling a Chinese-made car seat from the market after a 9-month-old girl toppled head first out of a buckled restraint manufactured by overseas company, 1st Care. There is a video to watch if you click on the link. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/rotorua-daily-post/news/article.cfm?c_id=1503438&objectid=11597608 Now before anyone says it doesn't apply to the UK as that was in NZ remember Chinese stuff is sold everywhere. It is also a good idea to check car seats anyway after they have been used a few times. I have posted this in here rather than the motoring section as hopefully more people will see this warning.
