warsash saint Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Look lads, I hope this is not too late but DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT THE RINGWOOD / SPUR ROAD ROUTE. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE AT RUSH HOUR TO DO IT IN UNDER TWO AND A HALF HOURS from Poulner Hill. Best to go down the A35 through Christchurch and then via Littledown (Hospital / Tesco) link to Wessex Way. You can turn left at the lights at Littledown crossroads and make your way into the back of the Dean Court area and avoid the Spur Road /Wesssex Way trunk road altogether. 2 1/2 hours is rather exaggerated !! I do this route every day & takes me less than 1 hour 20 from Warsash (42 miles) Just use Goggle maps to get the best route tonight. Turning left just past Burley services; & then down to Avon Causeway or thru back streets thru Ringwood may be the best way but it deffo wont take you 2 1/2 hours (unless there's an accident)
simo Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 I live in Christchurch and work in both Southampton and Bournemouth, Quickest way is via Lyndhurst, Christchurch, Boscombe!
saintmonkey1979 Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 You're better off going through Christchurch towards Bournemouth hospital and join Wessex Way down there from Castle Lane. Boscombe is ok if you know the rat runs. Alternatively, go from Christchurch, down Bargates towards Hurn and get on Wessex Way there. A35 from Lyndhurst is favorite to get that far though. If you want to miss traffic into Lyndhurst, come off A31 just after Rufus Stone services and go through Emery Down. Hope this helps
Mr Biscuits Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Bear in mind that traffic around junction 2/3 on the m27 tonight is going to be heavier than normal because they are closing the Redbridge flyover to repair accident damage
Mr Biscuits Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Also, if you fellas must insult each other could you please inject some enthusiasm and inventiveness into it so everyone else at least gets a laugh?
derry Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Long had a touch of cramp, hamstring ok, subject to training reaction whether he plays.
billyb Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 In the Bell at pokesdown station, got in but they are about to start checking I'd, no colours if you are planning on trying to get in from now.
brett24 Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Going for a 2-0 win, Austin and Mane with the goals! COYS.
Tommy Mulgrew Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 I believe that Surman is the only non-defender to play every minute of EPL games so far this season. Will be interested to see how he gets on against our creative force. And whether Artur plays a blinder or gifts us the win. At least we don't have Lallana to take our penalty tonight.

warsash saint Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 For those just leaving, Google maps is saying under an hour if you head straight down M27, A31, A338
Saint-Armstrong Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 (edited) SAINTS: Forster; Van Dijk, Fonte, Yoshida; Cédric, Ward-Prowse, Romeu, Bertrand; Mané; Austin, Long. Edited 1 March, 2016 by Saint-Armstrong
trousers Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 A couple of curve balls there from Ronald. Cue forum meltdown
simo Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 I wonder where Yoshida is playing , Cb in place of Bertrand I guess ?
Toadhall Saint Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 A couple of curve balls there from Ronald. Cue forum meltdown That's what I thought - be interesting to see how we line up.
Pamplemousse Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 No Clasie or Davis is interesting. Good to see Mané back
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Koeman, wisely using the squad. Although i expect Maya will be getting grief on here before a ball is kicked
simo Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 A couple of curve balls there from Ronald. Cue forum meltdown Be nice to see Romeu and Jwp play like they did Vs Norwich, Looked a good combo then !
Batman Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Decent side. I hope yoshida does not give away a golden chance
Whitey Grandad Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 A couple of curve balls there from Ronald. Cue forum meltdown It can sometimes happen if you sit awkwardly.
Pamplemousse Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Koeman, wisely using the squad. Although i expect Maya will be getting grief on here before a ball is kicked And right on cue, here's Batman...
Pamplemousse Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Let's be honest, very few of their players would even make our bench. This is a game we should be winning by at least 2 goals.
Leicestersaint Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Steve Davis rightly dropped to the bench after Saturday's disappointing performance.
whelk Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Decent side. I hope yoshida does not give away a golden chance Just Yoshida?
Mr Biscuits Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Lomg, Austin and Mané up front should cause huge problems for their defence
Batman Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Just Yoshida? He is more likely given his previous form of the last year or so
captainchris Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Well, baffling.... Pelle dropped great but the rest of that random team? Is RK being far too clever again? We have tried Bertrand forward with Yosh in the back three and it didn't work but we have to do that again? Also a weaker midfield with a front three which hasn't been effective.... Bournemouth like to have plenty of the ball in midfield so - we put less bodies in there with no obvious link to the front three? Just odd... If this goes tits up RK will bring Pelle on and pick him every game for the rest of the season..
danjosaint Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Maybe if we slate yoshi enough like west ham he'll score again
DT Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Very attacking side though. Will be goals Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
explorer saint Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Great see some saints connections on by sport .. Redknapp !
Mr Biscuits Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Great see some saints connections on by sport .. Redknapp ! Are you kidding?
Greenridge Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Maybe if we slate yoshi enough like west ham he'll score again And Villa. Prolific!
The Hoff Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Last time we moaned about Yoshi starting he scored. Keep calm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chalkboy Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Looking at the team selection I would rather have had one of Austin,Long or Mane on the bench as subs who can make a difference. Hopefully RK's selection pays off and we murder them with a truckload of goals first half.
DuncanRG Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Last time we moaned about Yoshi starting he scored. Keep calm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Forget calm, let's keep moaning!
sibster Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Ignore that link-they have switched to BT2 for some reason! Links are available here: http://www.streamhub.hk/watch/15897/AFC-Bournemouth-vs-Southampton-FC
Saint Claude Van Damme Posted 1 March, 2016 Posted 1 March, 2016 Twice Redknapp has called Forster 'foster' even after Jake has said his name! It's embarrassing he's picked for any game as a pundit let alone this one!
