Belsey23 Posted 26 February, 2016 Share Posted 26 February, 2016 The Premier League site states the following about the Man City game: Subject to Man City's possible participation in the UEFA Champions League the following Tuesday. Anyone know what would happen if this is the case?

Pamplemousse Posted 26 February, 2016 Share Posted 26 February, 2016 So that means that all our games up to and including the 1st of May have been scheduled Our games in April against Newcastle, Everton and Aston Villa are all Saturday 3pm kick offs. None of them can be affected by FA Cup matches or the like so, they should be fixed in. The final two games in May are Tottenham and Crystal Palace, and if Spurs are still in the title race then expect that match to be moved for TV coverage. Therefore, it's very very likely that our last Saturday 3pm kick off will be Aston Villa on the 23rd April, and the last one at home to be the Newcastle game on 9th April. JRM Posted 26 February, 2016 Share Posted 26 February, 2016 I don't mind Man City at home moving as it is a bank holiday weekend so can still enjoy the sunday , have a beer etc. The Leicester game moving to a Sunday lunchtime is quite inconvenient, can't see us taking the full 3000 allocation up there this year. Berkshire Saint Posted 26 February, 2016 Share Posted 26 February, 2016 From speaking with a Leicester mate over the last few weeks, our game up there was always likely to be moved to the Sunday anyway as Leicester Tigers had been picked for a TV game on the Saturday and the two sides generally don't play on the same day. 1.30pm is a pain but prefer it to 4pm I think! beatlesaint Posted 26 February, 2016 Share Posted 26 February, 2016 Oh for f*ck sake, why do they keep doing this. my sentiments exactly, moving it looked like it made another place i need to be on the Saturday seem possible (Saints always my first choice of course) but then you get to the end about the Champions League semi final and think "oh great" !! Cant do 12.45 as that is a BT game. Friday night, anyone?

I think they would move the Arsenal match to the Sunday, seeing as it's very unlikely they will be involved in the Champions League.

Pamplemousse Posted 26 February, 2016 Share Posted 26 February, 2016 This is all getting very messy. What a complete clusterfup. UEFA don't help matters unfortunately. And the quarter finals end on the 12th and 13th April, so we won't know until then if Man City qualify. If they do, then the semi-final draw will be on the 15th April, and we would know for certain on which day Man City play. So we get just over 2 weeks' notice. InvictaSaint Posted 6 March, 2016 Share Posted 6 March, 2016 Saturday's match day programme has our game v Liverpool as on Sky, if you look in the fixtures section, but Sky's own website does not have it as a live game. Anyone the wiser?
