The9 Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 West Ham had 2 shots on target. The defence is doing brilliantly, that's only 5 shots on target in 4 matches aside from Arsenal away. Romeu/Clasie (preferably with 9 other players on the park) is the future.
Pilchards Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 It's a better system because it spreads the play more at the back. Our back five have more time on the ball to pass the game away from the opposition strike force allowing us to build up an attack more frequently. Having said that, there were periods early on where they looked as likely to play the ball from the back as we did in the second half against Liverpool in the League Cup. West Ham just didn't pressurise enough up there.
Deano6 Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 Why do Dutch managers love 3-5-2 so much? It seems to be what they all want to implement eventually. And that's an observation from even before Koeman and van Gaal came to the Prem.
