Chalkboy Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 why on earth would you have chamberlain in the starting line up. he never plays. He has less goals than Alli in the premier league.... I would love it if Hodgson would come out and say "if you're spending more time on the bench than you are playing, then I'm not interested in picking you. I want players who are playing week in week out." Of course - it will never happen. In his world if you're at a "big team" that's good enough for him.
Lets B Avenue Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 City seem out of ideas 2 shots on target- shocking stats That's a battering by anyone's language.
Matthew Le God Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Theory... we are all living in a matrix version of a Gary Lineker dream!
stknowle Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Man city are a disgrace really. Even when they won their titles it was by a very fine margin, they've always lost a lot of games and looked fragile despite signing whoever they want. Mercenaries who don't try beyond 70% mixed with some who are just rubbish signings. Not having much of a British spine to the team doesn't help. Can't see them ever being that consistent and guardiola has no experience of this league. Maybes he's amazing maybes he's not, winning leagues with barca and Bayern with those players doesn't quite prove it for me. Leicester just want it far more than city and can see them doing that to arsenal too. City are a fecking embarrassment to be honest.
Pamplemousse Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Hoping for victories for Sunderland, Spurs (only for today), Swansea and a draw in the Stoke v Everton game.
Toomer Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 What did he say? But agree, and given the amount they have spent, even more so. More or less said Leicester have not got a chance as they have got to play Arsenal next.
angelman Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Palace not having much fun at the moment. Pardew apparently said he might be concerned of a relegation scrap if they lose today. Can't believe that they would go down, but stranger things have happened.
Sheaf Saint Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Hoping for victories for Sunderland, Spurs (only for today), Swansea and a draw in the Stoke v Everton game. Everton 3-0 up before HT.
Dark Munster Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Wish I had a time machine and could go back and put a few quid on Leicester at the beginning of the season. 5000-1 for the title. League table this time last year: http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/league-table.html?season=2014-2015&timelineView=played&matchNo=25&tableView=CURRENT_STANDINGS Leicester were rock bottom 5 points adrift. Now they are 6 points clear at the top.
Plastic Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Wish I had a time machine and could go back and put a few quid on Leicester at the beginning of the season. 5000-1 for the title. There must have been a fair few optimistic Leicester fans who's stuck a tenner on that surely? Good luck to them!
The Cat Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 My accumulator looking ok, need Middlesbrough and Cardiff to score. I have £10 on West Ham because they were 21/4 which is pretty much the same odds we were to win at Arsenal on Tuesday. Eastleigh 3-0 down at half time up at Lincoln which is surprise.
jasonb Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Trippier for Spurs is playing as a winger effectively and arrowing cross after cross in. He's some player. MotM so far. Nil all but Spurs are a powerful, technical side. Poch has them playing superbly. Watford defending manfully at times but not able to get out at all.
jasonb Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 And Trippier notches.. Best player on the park for Spurs!!!
Pamplemousse Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Sunderland equalise against the bin dippers
adrian lord Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 I bet Klopp is secretly regretting ever taking that job.
Batman Posted 6 February, 2016 Author Posted 6 February, 2016 I bet Klopp is secretly regretting ever taking that job. could have had the chelsea gig
Turkish Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Man city are a disgrace really. Leicester just want it far more than city and can see them doing that to arsenal too. What on earth are on about now? Ciry have won the league two of the last four seasons, the other teams were Chelsea who also can buy pretty much anyone they want as well and Man United, the biggest club in England who were managed by probably the best manager of all time in his final season, who guess what? Also have bucket loads of cash either. They've not been outside of the top 3 since 2011. Yet according to you they are "a disgrace" because they haven't steamrollered their way to the title every season ahead of other massive teams who have also spent sh*t loads of cash. I'm sure fans of most clubs would be delighted to win the league 50% of the time and never finish below third yet in Adrian's world that level of performance is "a disgrace"
Batman Posted 6 February, 2016 Author Posted 6 February, 2016 I think tis league is brilliant this year. It is wide open for all sorts. This is what we all wanted, right?
goneawol Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Sunderland equalise against the bin dippers I think their defence left on 77 mins.
Batman Posted 6 February, 2016 Author Posted 6 February, 2016 Since Liverpool last won the League Peter Schmeichel signed for Manchester Utd, won it 5 times, retired, had a son, and he's about to win it with Leicester
bpsaint Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Another loss for the Skates, down to 7th now, really think they'll have to settle for the playoffs this year, hopefully they'll drop even lower.
doddisalegend Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Considering todays results a win for us would be really nice .........................well it's always nice it would just be a little bit nicer today:)
Saint Without a Halo Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Another loss for the Skates, down to 7th now, really think they'll have to settle for the playoffs this year, hopefully they'll drop even lower. Cant be good for them to look up and see Northampton on the top too!
The9 Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 FWIW, Liverpool have won the league twice during Kasper's lifetime.
nta786 Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 FWIW, Liverpool have won the league twice during Kasper's lifetime. Think Batman forgot to say that Liverpool have infact, never won the Premier League- which is what Leicester have a good chance of doing.
PhilippineSaint Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 Hoping for victories for Sunderland, Spurs (only for today), Swansea and a draw in the Stoke v Everton game. Wrong on all of these
Shance Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 There must have been a fair few optimistic Leicester fans who's stuck a tenner on that surely? Good luck to them! One Leicester fan stuck £5 on it. Not only could he get to celebrate a league win with his team, he'll be £25,000 better off as well.
Saint_clark Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 One Leicester fan stuck £5 on it. Not only could he get to celebrate a league win with his team, he'll be £25,000 better off as well. Christ I can't even imagine, i'll be over the moon with my £1600!
Plastic Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 Someone bet on 3-1 with Huth to score first... http://www.theladbible.com/articles/punter-wins-a-fortune-from-mad-bet-on-leicester-city-060216-1
vivasadio Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 Are Bournemouth really booing Chamberlain? Really don't know what their problem is
ErwinK1961 Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 Two footed lunge from Flamini... Gets a yellow card. Got to love consistency.
Saint Charlie Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 Ozil's 4th PL goal this season. Suprisingly low for a player of that quality. Tadic has 5.
Batman Posted 7 February, 2016 Author Posted 7 February, 2016 Arsenal back on form. Chamberlain scores a good goal. After getting a bit of a "scumming" from the home crowd
bpsaint Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 Bless the blue rinse brigade chanting Scummer at Chambo, who duly celebrates with a cupped ear to the fans.
Batman Posted 7 February, 2016 Author Posted 7 February, 2016 Ozil's 4th PL goal this season. Suprisingly low for a player of that quality. Tadic has 5. He has created an obscene amount of clear chances though. Best in Europe or something daft like that
ErwinK1961 Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 Arsenal back on form. Chamberlain scores a good goal. After getting a bit of a "scumming" from the home crowd He's probably confused as the rest of us as to what on earth they're banging on about.
saints1988 Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 Bless the blue rinse brigade chanting Scummer at Chambo, who duly celebrates with a cupped ear to the fans. They are tragic, just **** off back to the football league
Saint Charlie Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 He has created an obscene amount of clear chances though. Best in Europe or something daft like that Yeah he is a class player. Just would expect him to have more goals playing in such a good side.
hasper57saint Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 Just watched the first half of Bompey v the Arse.Strange how all the players have mikes on so we an hear them above the crowd!
Sheaf Saint Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 Apparently that is Chamberlain's first ever goal away from home for Arsenal
hasper57saint Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 Apparently that is Chamberlain's first ever goal away from home for Arsenal And there are some on here who would like him back!!!!!!!
Batman Posted 7 February, 2016 Author Posted 7 February, 2016 And there are some on here who would like him back!!!!!!! He would be very good in a different side
S-Clarke Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 And there are some on here who would like him back!!!!!!! I'd have him back, Wenger's management of him has been a disgrace. He'd be so better under a manager such as Poch for e.g
