doddisalegend Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 I think they might actually do it. Lets hope. So I get the feeling the big six are going to go mad next summer on spending and new managers. Pep to Man city is going to kick things off so this will probably be the only chance to see someone else, other than one of the usual suspects, win the PL. If it can't be saints hell let it be Leicester. Next season I think the status quo will be well and truly back in place in the PL.
angelman Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 Well the game I have been looking at for the last 20 minutes show them being absolutely battered by City, save for a cross into the box from Vardy.

adrian lord Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 I wouldn't say battered. Just playing a counterattacking strategy.
angelman Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 I wouldn't say battered. Just playing a counterattacking strategy. I would disagree and say battered. 71:29 possession and most of that is around the Leicester penalty area. BUT....LCFC seem to be preventing them from taking too many shots and of course have the most important stat in their favour of being 1 up. Pretty much the story of Leicester's season they are the complete anti-version of possession football but considering how well it's working I doubt they are bothered. angelman Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 0-2 battering[emoji3] So are you saying that in the last 2/3s of the first half, they weren't being battered? Strange if you don't. Have only just come back to see they are now 2 up, so we'll see how ManC react. But I guess you do know that you can batter someone without scoring, don't you? Rut Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 City are not losing 2-0. They are actually winning 2-0. If you aren't sure about which City I mean then here is a handy hint: Long way to go in this game yet but I can't see Man City scoring 3. That best not jinx it. Come on Leicester! beatlesaint Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 Just looking at Leicester's remaining fixtures, after Arsenal away next week they have not got a hard run in at all. They really should kick themselves if they win today and then balls it up !
Batman Posted 6 February, 2016 Author Share Posted 6 February, 2016 3-0 to Leicester Love it I wonder if that ****** Tony Gale will state that their are clearly only two sides in the title race, Arsenal and Man City. I think that objectively you are the one being a penis. I really am not back tracking. In the first half they were being battered. There is no backtracking in that at all. They now look far more likely to score than City. Anyway, I am finding this "conversation" very tedious.

Vardy will get 1 friendly playing up top. Do alright and then put on the bench and get fleeting appearance out wide Players like Oxlade-chamberlain will be certain for the squad ahead of a couple of Leicester players. We will get out of the groups at the euros, not hard.... Then go out against a half decent side with Rooney scoring a maximum of 1 goal

I reckon he'll be a huge let down again. It'll be the usual crap from Hodgson.... and if all fit, something like; Hart, Baines, Clyne, Smalling, Cahill, Wilshere, Henderson, Welbeck, Rooney, Lallana, Sturridge. Left out will be the likes of Vardy, Kane, Chamberlain, Alli etc. All the exciting players who make things happen ditched for all the usual washed-up, overhyped rubbish he seems fond of. He'll probably find a way to shoehorn Gibbs and Jones in too, knowing him. W4nker.

Batman Posted 6 February, 2016 Author Share Posted 6 February, 2016 What I like about Leicester, they virtually play two up top. One does drop deeper when defending. Both though, are quick, very busy and able to stretch the opposition defence very quickly. We have picked up also playing something similar up top

Plastic Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 Man city are a disgrace really. Even when they won their titles it was by a very fine margin, they've always lost a lot of games and looked fragile despite signing whoever they want. Mercenaries who don't try beyond 70% mixed with some who are just rubbish signings. Not having much of a British spine to the team doesn't help. Can't see them ever being that consistent and guardiola has no experience of this league. Maybes he's amazing maybes he's not, winning leagues with barca and Bayern with those players doesn't quite prove it for me. Leicester just want it far more than city and can see them doing that to arsenal too. Agree with this

Chalkboy Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 Pleased for Leicester, but can't help feeling a tinge of jealousy that it's not us (did I say "tinge"? More like a huge slab). nta786 Posted 6 February, 2016 Share Posted 6 February, 2016 What Hodgeson will play: Hart Clyne Jagielka Cahill Baines Henderson Milner Townsend Lallana Sterling Rooney Bench: Butland, Stones, Phil Jones, Delph, Wilshere, Kane, Vardy. What the team should be IMO: Hart Clyne Stones Smalling Bertrand Chamberlain Alli Barkley Sterling Kane Vardy (Put on another centre defensive mid in place of AOC if playing a better nation than us maybe even Dier.)
