John Boy Saint Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 (edited) Well done Sir on winning January's Manager of the Month http://mobile.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20160205-ronald-koeman-manager-of-the-month-january-2939195.aspx# ......... Thank you Edited 5 February, 2016 by John Boy Saint
farawaysaint Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 The first ever Saints manager to win three prem gongs.
trousers Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Should make those threads from December even more funnier reading... Congratulations RK!
altoniansaints Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Congrats to RK and all the players. Keep it up and maybe we can make more history
ericofarabia Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Hopefully The MOTM curse is a thing of history now. Well Done Mr K and all of your backroom staff. Well deserved.
Saint Charlie Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Hopefully we can extend Koeman's stay at the club.
Kingsland Red Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Top man. Pulled us out of the perceived downward spiral with aplomb.
Toadhall Saint Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Brilliant - well done. Hopefully it'll be more than come the season end!
eurosaint Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Should make those threads from December even more funnier reading... Congratulations RK! Don't worry, a couple of defeats in Feb and they'll be calling for his head again T0ssers !
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Don't worry, a couple of defeats in Feb and they'll be calling for his head again T0ssers ! Aint` that the truth...
torsaint Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Don't worry, a couple of defeats in Feb and they'll be calling for his head again T0ssers ! One of them sits behind us Eurosaint!
Saint86 Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 I dont think anyone was calling for his head, just frustrated with the lack of youth players in the team. Thankfully and first and foremost, he has got us winning again, but he has also addressed our issues with Pelle and started playing target and JWP more. Its almost like he reads this forum...
angelman Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 I wish we were Stoke. Speak for yourself. I'd rather be Palace or maybe Watford at a push.
sadoldgit Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Very pleased for Ron after the stick he took. He hasn't panicked, he has just got on with his job and sorted things out. Top man.
Wallington Saint Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Would be interested to know how many many times Lawrie Mac won manger of the month...in the days before the premier league invented football!! Anyone?
eelpie Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Thank you Big Ron And thank you too for overseeing the medical staff that got England's best keeper fit and back between the posts.
Wes Tender Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 A couple of the blog sites posted on News Now, claim that he won it because of the three clean sheets during the last four matches. Had they engaged their brain and researched it properly, they would realise that just because we drew one match doesn't mean that it ended with us conceding a goal.
goneawol Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Perhaps they realised that game was in February..
dronskisaint Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Hopefully The MOTM curse is a thing of history now. Well Done Mr K and all of your backroom staff. Well deserved. When he won it one of the times before it had a dire effect...we won 8-0 but it should have been 12! I echo the congratulations, in Ronald we trust!!
Le Timmier Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Perhaps they realised that game was in February..
Matthew Le God Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 A couple of the blog sites posted on News Now, claim that he won it because of the three clean sheets during the last four matches. Had they engaged their brain and researched it properly, they would realise that just because we drew one match doesn't mean that it ended with us conceding a goal. I don't think you should be throwing stones! The Premier League's January manager of the month unsurprisingly looks at January's Premier League results. January's Premier League results... Norwich 1 Saints 0 Saints 2 Watford 0 Saints 3 WBA 0 Man Utd 0 Saints 1 = 3 clean sheets The clean sheet at Arsenal was on 2nd February and clearly doesn't count to January's Manager of the Month.
ART Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Having been one of his biggest critics for a long while, this is an award he really deserves. The turn=around over the past few weeks has been really incredible. Long may it continue, but worry the return of Pelle (and getting unjustified selection) may wreak everything.
SW5 SAINT Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Speak for yourself. I'd rather be Palace or maybe Watford at a push. I'd rather be Villa........

Must....resist......correcting....
Redslo Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Speak for yourself. I'd rather be Palace or maybe Watford at a push. If we are going to dream why can't we be Leicester?
Wade Garrett Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Ron wins MOTM and Lawrenson tips us to win. Talk about bad omens.
whelk Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Ron wins MOTM and Lawrenson tips us to win. Talk about bad omens. Lawro has tipped us to 14 times. We have only won 9. Handsome win tomorrow and mustn't let Lawro down
CB Fry Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Lawro has tipped us to 14 times. We have only won 9. Handsome win tomorrow and mustn't let Lawro down 14 times? Do they still do the Lawro league table? We must be flying.
whelk Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 14 times? Do they still do the Lawro league table? We must be flying. Indeed
whelk Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Bloody hell just seen his Leicester predictions
Badger Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Well done RK. Ron wins MOTM and Lawrenson tips us to win. Talk about bad omens. Thats tomorrow f^cked then.
CB Fry Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Bloody hell just seen his Leicester predictions I can kinda understand Chelsea ("they'll start winning this week" over and over) and Leicester ("it's got to come to an end" over and over) but West Brom? Lawro, what were you thinking?
The Cat Posted 5 February, 2016 Posted 5 February, 2016 Never predicted a Liverpool loss and only 2 wins all season for Watford. The man is a lunatic.
Ohio Saint Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 I heard that he likes to tickle bunny rabbits to the point where they become insane and deny all the really strange parts of the old testament.....I'm not totally sure I can get behind a person like this.
Toomer Posted 6 February, 2016 Posted 6 February, 2016 Ron wins MOTM and Lawrenson tips us to win. Talk about bad omens. Thank christ the manager of the month curse did not rear it's ugly head.
Give it to Ron Posted 7 February, 2016 Posted 7 February, 2016 It's an amazing turn around since the Spurs home game. We looked without fight, weak at the back and no bottle. The management must take great credit for the change in formation and getting it to work. The whole squad now look up for it. We have a couple not firing but they will rediscover it. Helps so much having Forster back but credit Koeman and team for our change in fortune Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I thought we had some unhappy senior figures evading the current situation silly as it may be.
