bangkoksaint Posted 3 February, 2016 Share Posted 3 February, 2016 I see he has gone to Crewe Alex. I'll probably see him play Saturday and few of my mates are asking about him. Any views? Shop window for him as surely he has no future at Saints?
Saint Without a Halo Posted 3 February, 2016 Share Posted 3 February, 2016 I see he has gone to Crewe Alex. I'll probably see him play Saturday and few of my mates are asking about him. Any views? Shop window for him as surely he has no future at Saints? He has been sent to get game experience if he had no future he would have been released and not put on the first team bench! S-Clarke Posted 3 February, 2016 Share Posted 3 February, 2016 I think he's seen as having a future, but he does need to start making a name for himself. Is this possibly his first loan? But I think he's a typical fox in the box type of finisher, seems to be in the right place, right time. Hopefully he can rack up the goals and get the same level of accolades which McCarthy is getting.
The9 Posted 3 February, 2016 Share Posted 3 February, 2016 I think Seager will do better than any of our other loanees this season IF they give him a chance. He's a good finisher, might be a bit more suited to Saints' style soon as well, and yes it's his first loan. He got 10 minutes against Millwall on Saturday off the bench, but as Crewe only Marcus Haber up front (who was dire against Saints for Stevenage in the League Cup a few years back, all fluff and no finish), he's got a chance of getting a start. Haber has 4 goals in 33 matches including Canada internationals.
