Derby against Man U. Two very average sides. Derby showing far too much respect.

Rooney offside goal allowed. Well. It's Man U. What do you expect?

1-1!!

Lol

This. I thought Danny Murphy was going to **** himself into a coma the way he's been banging on about how great United have been. He seems to have forgotten they're playing Derby and not Barcelona.

Schneiderlin being criticised for his sloppy passing. Haha.

Games we're interested in are the Arsenal v Burnley and Liverpool v West Ham really , Arsenal as we play them 3 days later, Liverpool game I personally want to be a draw so we get to play West Ham on a Saturday

Agree. Tough game for Arsenal, preferably with a sending off. Draw for Liverpool Wham then I can make the Saturday game.

BBC commentary team must be stocked up on cream to rub on their necks to sooth the soreness caused by the sphincter muscle through having their heads so far up Man Utd's backside with their comments.

Derby have been poor.

Their right back has been atrocious. Their coach was too useless to spot him getting done all game.

Their striker Martin is one of the laziest players I've seen in a while.

can't see them getting up anytime soon.

Palace v Stoke also of interest for us as I think Stoke away is scheduled for 6th round weekend in March so would be handy to know about that one for travel arrangements.

Not really.

Are you REALLY going to take the "it wasn't offside" angle when replays showed that TWO of their goals could have been flagged offside in the buildup? :uhoh:

Yes, they were very close, but having any part of the body that can legally play the ball in an offside position is offside. The video footage conclusively proved that Rooney was offside for the first goal and Martial was offside for the third.

What has happened to Schneiderlin ? didn't seem to be in the game at all in the first half , Smalling needs plenty of help I thought Morgan was the reason our defence looked good !

He's not in a cohesive team any more. And probably unhappy and wants to come home, or to Arsenal, or pretty well anywhere really.

Are we out of this one? I can't remember. Was this the 1-6 Liverpool horror show?

Assuming you're serious, no. The Palace fiasco.

That article is a little piece of perfection. Works on so many levels.

I'm sure they're just setting him up for a good old "scumming" as the excitement of the 'big boys' coming to town builds down there.

plucky-little-p*mpey v the South Coast's second best club. Heady heights.

I used the word in the sense of 'not significantly'.

Both these instances are very marginal and it's only because TV goes out of its way to try and create some controversy that we ever get to see them. Fifty years ago you'd never have heard a mention of either. Rooney was actually coming back from his marginally offside position where he had been for a fraction of a second when the ball was passed to him. Do you really think he had gained an advantage from being being offside?

This law has evolved over the decades to be officiated by somebody running up and down the line with a flag. It's never going to be 100% accurate and only really exists to stop goalhanging.

I was watching the game but was too busy trying to stop myself puking at the sycophantic commentary.

Tottenham haven't really got out of second gear so far and don't think they'll really need to. Hoping Bournemouth dish out a good beating to the skates today, I'll probably watch with the sound off so I don't have to put up with the anti scum love in from both sets of fans.

Bournemouth have been absolutely shocking so far, thought Howe would have wanted to win this one comfortably.

He is obviously not that bothered, he made 10 changes today.

Not surprising, given the value of Premier survival against a pot.

poopey 1 Bompey 0 - Is a giant killing on? I always like when the minnows put a goal past the big boys!

Absolutely, Nicking this would be the equivalent of winning the Champions League for the skate scum, the highlight for the next thirty years, probably an open top bus tour of the slums tomorrow, even if they lose!
