I was approving some expenses and came across a line item charge for them using Apple Pay, which was in addition to the booking charge.

Just for some perspective, it was £2.70 for a ticket that cost £133.00.

First of all I hadnt seen this before and was not aware that there could be additional charges for using apple pay..... I haven't ever (To my knowledge) been charged for using it.

Does anyone know when additional charges can be applied or how common this is?I am assumming there must be some sort of disclaimer to let you know that extra charges will apply, but again have never seen thi..... or ever looked.

It must be the retailer's charge, as Apple doesn't charge a transaction fee to the customer for using Apple Pay. Surely the purchaser would have know this, or it would be on his/her receipt/documentation?
