Let this happen please, or at least for him to leave Spurs

I don't get the universal hate for Man Utd, they're a quality club, the biggest in the world (still) and him going there will do them wonders. They're an unfit (comparatively), disorganised mob and I'm pretty sure he'd get them winning stuff again for everyone to hate more.

Are they a quality club? That they have struggled so much since Ferguson's retirement highlights to me how poor they are in so many crucial areas. Poor scouting, complacent training. Fergie's cult of personality there was Manchester United, he was bigger then the club.

They have massive reach due to their success at the point where the premier league's global profile went exponential, yet, right now, they are looking to be something of a Dinosaur, like Liverpool have been since 1991. Nonetheless, for the right manager they represent a stunning opportunity. Those resources, that support and if given time...... It could be a perfect fit for Pochettino.

I quite like Utd and Spurs, both are decent footballing sides in the whole. I really enjoyed watching them today vs Leicester, Poch has got them playing decent football these days, and fair play to him and them.

I dont get the Poch hate really, he left us for a club that was willing to pay more money, to provide more money and are essentially a bigger team. Thats football, that is what happens.

Will he be a decent appointment for Utd, very much so in my opinion

No, to be fair, Liverpool are just hilarious! EVERY year since Graham Souness was manager, I've had people who claim to support them tell me that "next year is our year once our youngsters bed in"

It would seem to make sense. Mourinho too toxic for ManU now. Pep to City so that's no good. Klopp made a mistake I think he's already secretly regretting in going to Merseyside but is stuck there for now.

And what schadenfreude to see Levi's face as Spurs are, in turn like us, dumped.

I can't see Levy making it as easy to buy him out of his contract as Cortese did with his Saints contract . I'm sure he'll be tied down quite tightly & it'll cost them a few quid . Not that they're lacking money , but are they really going to battle/ cough up for a rookie ( never managed in champions league , never won anything ) . They also won't chuck Giggs overboard and Poch seems to have a gang of buddies he carries with him . The massive clubs will want to see how he handles superstars before they employ him. He's done a pretty decent job at Spurs & with us ,but managing that level of player ,is a long way from managing players that are more important to the club than the manager himself .

This ^^

Poch's record with established senior players isn't quite as good as with youngsters or players, like Lallana or Clyne, who haven't achieved much. He couldn't get much out of ego players like Osvaldo and Adebayor and big teams like Man U have plenty of those.

To be fair, nobody can really get anything out of them these days.

Like it or not he's a very good manager. If he went to United he would need to be given a season to get the team playing his way.

Personally my favourite season since we came up was his full season here. Really organised defence, brilliant attacking style of play with a lot of young English players. I was very disappointed we didn't get the chance to see what that team could have achieved.
