What team would you select from the current squad?

 

Mine is: Gazza, VVD, Clasie, Davis, Mane

 

Good mix of defensive players but good on the ball in tight spaces and quick.

 

Gazza edges Forster as better passer.

 

Clasie plays instead of Reed as the game is only an hour.

Yeah used to be on Sportsnight on a Wednesday for a few years. Given 42 games and endless cup replays wonder how they found the time.

Actually recall seeing Paul Merson as the Arsenal wonder kid playing brilliantly and commentator saying remember his name.

 

They should reintroduce it in Qatar and give £200million or something to the winners.

Is that the one that used to be at Wembley Arena as it was back then.

Used to go up there on school trips. I remember a little argy bargy with some skates too.

Yes no segregation there .. I remember winning it when we had Eric martin and channon playing unless my memory is failing me .. was quite exciting for us to actually win something prior to 1976

Daily Express 5 aside tournament, I remember watching the 85 one in my bedroom, we got to the final in 81 as well.
