John B Posted 7 January, 2016 Posted 7 January, 2016 Alan Curtis used to play for Saints I saw him score a wonder goal at the Milton Road End over thirty years ago

It's a bit of info relevant to Saints in general but not worthy of its own thread (I can see if he had started a new thread you would have posted "wtf, why is this its own thread"). Chill out Saints fans. It has no relevance to saints at all

redder freak Posted 7 January, 2016 Posted 7 January, 2016 Thankfully Koeman doesn't appear to be aware of or rate this website and the negative rumours on it.

Kingsbridge Saint Posted 8 January, 2016 Posted 8 January, 2016 Wow - thanks for that. Over thirty years ago! I was in the Milton that day. I knew I was going to get old but didn't realise it would happen this fast.

Would have absolutely loved a cup run this season given where we seemed to be after last season however I've had to rapidly readjust my expectations given recent performance (and utter lack thereof). Save the cup for another year, right now Koeman needs that team to be concentrating on getting mathematically safe . Let's see what we Can do with the extra money next season. Just absolute rubbish.
The Cat Posted 8 January, 2016 Posted 8 January, 2016 Palace around 4/1 to win, which given our current form seems generous although I'm predicting an inconvenient draw.
LaptopSaint Posted 8 January, 2016 Posted 8 January, 2016 In a one-step-forward-two-steps-back season I think we'll win this one.

Jonnyboy Posted 8 January, 2016 Posted 8 January, 2016 Anyone know the current ticket situation? Am planning on walking up...

St.Patrik Posted 8 January, 2016 Posted 8 January, 2016 Ok this is Saints related only because of Dan Hardin ; ) but I can see the Eastleigh vs Bolton game on viaplay here in Sweden tomorrow. First time the spitfires are shown here I guess. Our game seems to be so boring so not on the viaplay site at all : /

david in sweden Posted 9 January, 2016 Posted 9 January, 2016 expecting both managers to try out a few of their regular " bench players "......maybe Juanmi (?)....but certainly Reed and (hopefully) Seager, too. Maybe Targett? Players I don't want to see starting this game: Caulker, Ramirez and Yoshida.

I might get worried if we lose our next 6 gamew, but in all honesty we are just stuck in midtable and everyone on here needs something to whine about so we are all trying to convince ourselves we are in big trouble. We're really not. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

The Cat Posted 9 January, 2016 Posted 9 January, 2016 Took the kids to get the players autographs this morning. A few of them now get dropped off out the front of the ground and go in the front entrance rather than come along and sign autographs with the others which is pretty rude to be fair, especially when the kids are stood waiting in this weather.

There may be something on all those "bookie" sites perhaps but they're rarely streamed on the usual outlets. Perhaps ART will chip in later, he knows a lot about streams.

Someone last year posted a Radio Solent link for FA Cup games that can be listened to online in the UK and abroad via a UK proxy or VPN. I'm hoping the same person will post a similar link for today's game

Saint Charlie Posted 9 January, 2016 Posted 9 January, 2016 5-3-2 again. Not quite sure why Koeman thinks Palace play 442 because I think they are more 4-2-3-1 and this system means Targett and Martina will struggle to get forward as have to deal with the Palace widemen. But Koeman probably knows best! Interesting Clasie starts as will need him starting on Wednesday too. Also interesting Caulker doesn't even make the bench...maybe he is set to go along with Ramirez.
nta786 Posted 9 January, 2016 Author Posted 9 January, 2016 352 or 532... Fairly defensive imo for a home cup tie- clearly game plan is to counter attack. Oh well :/ lets hope we win this.
