Another poor game from Saints. Rubbish at both ends of the pitch and a lack of belief in what we're doing and quality to address it.

 

What needs to change and what will realistically change?

Wasn't too disastrous at the back until the fantastically stupid red card from Vic.

 

JWP once again was woeful and created absolutely nothing. After playing over 100 games, people on here will still say he needs time.

 

Shane Long misses another sitter one-on-one. Not like our main striker will get a shred of blame though as he runs around a lot and works hard.

 

Gaston will likely attract criticism in a match where he's brought on with 5 minutes to try and rescue a game in a team 1-0 down and down to ten men away from home.

 

One silver lining was Bertrand, who was absolutely superb, won everything, looked dangerous going forward and didn't deserve to be on the losing side.
