bpsaint Posted 29 December, 2015 Share Posted 29 December, 2015 Was in goal for the Skates the night we beat them in the Carling Cup in 03. No age at all really.
Golden Balls Posted 30 December, 2015 Share Posted 30 December, 2015 Clearly still a fit man as he was still exercising. Scary how quickly something like this to sneak up on you. RIP.
John Boy Saint Posted 3 January, 2016 Share Posted 3 January, 2016 Lee Clark was on Soccer AM yesterday morning, he said that Pavel had his heart failure while out running but was not found for a while. So sadly the Golden Hour had elapsed. Very sad as 47 is no age these days.
Whitey Grandad Posted 3 January, 2016 Share Posted 3 January, 2016 Very scary. My own (minor) heart attack caught me by surprise nearly four years ago at the age of 62. One tiny little globule of fat goes the wrong way through your heart and blocks an artery that's only a couple of millimetres wide and that's it. We all think that we have many years ahead of us and before we know it it's all over. We can load the dice by living better but sometimes the odds are against you all the same. RIP Pavel. You are not forgotten.
