I see we have Clattenberg as Ref for Saturday.Have we ever won with him as Ref? Will Saturday be a first?

PS. Liverhampton had their 'Friend' as twelf man last night.Have they ever lost in his presence?

Wonder if he'll give them another dodgy last minute penalty.

Worrying thing is the form table over the last 6 shows that there are only three teams worse than us and one is Manu

We need to turn our slump around as the battle to avoid the third very open relegation place could engulf us rapidly if we don't!

Need a win or draw at least. Norwich's centre backs need to be turned like Arsenals I would stick with Mane and Long if they are fresh and bring back Clasie and JWP who gelled well in midfield till they went off against the gunners.

Did not Clasies' and JWP's replacements coincide with our late goals against Arsenal?

Do you all watch the game or masturbate over the stats?

Is that being asked to everyone?

Gives SSN something to churn out constantly comparing player.

West Ham average 1.6 pts a game with Carroll. But look, significant ly without him it is 1.5 - from a sample of a whopping 13 games.

Wanyama is an excellent passer of the ball because his pass completion rate is 87.241%

And look this fullback ran 10.8 km today. Never mind him being often hopelessly out of position though what an engine.

Although stat of the Arsenal game was brilliant. They made one tackle!

stats would tell you Cedric is one of the premier leagues best players. Or best full back......or something weird like that

in reality........

I'd like to see a 95min performance today and a bit of ruthlessness in front of goal. Asking too much?

Not possible with our current quality of player. We're like 75% of the rest of the league in that we piece together good periods over the course of 95mins. The difference last year is that we had a defence that could withstand punishment and not concede. No Alderweireld, Clyne and Foster has taken that away (as well as less protection in midfield of course). Think VvD is a good replacement but the farce at right back is costing us and whilst Stek is a good loan I think it is clear he isn't as good as Forster. And of course a leaky defence is highlighting a lack of cutting edge up front which has cost us last season too.

I fear it is with our current squad and approach. I now expect one good period - maybe a whole half - and we need to put away a higher proportion of the chances we create. One half tends to be much worse - e.g. against Leicester and Bournemouth at home.

It's the right thing to do but it makes it harder to get anything from this game.

Why is he always late - someone told me he's often late to training too.

Might actually be useful to bring his pace and skills on against a tiring defence.

why do we seem to get players who think they can do what they like. These young men are paid a kings ransom to play football.....you would have thought they would be grateful and at least bloody well turn up in time for training, team meetings etc....so much for the magical black box doing its job!

Mane is late again so the squad gets punished in all truthfulness.

Can't they just fine him.

Surely 3 points is the most important thing, which is enhanced with him on the pitch. Juanmi doesn't even make the bench....injured or on his way out?

I'm sure they have fined him as well.
