Football shirt framing

Hi all

I've just won Ryan Bertrands match worn signed shirt #smug ! Obviously Ryan and I don't have the same physique ! Anybody got any pointers to getting it framed , costs and size and any other tips ? The last time I won anything was a chipper bike about 1975 ! It's fair to say this news has made my Christmas !

I personally wouldn't bother with that one mate. You want one with a proper card insert which allows you to add a couple of pictures. Not only will your shirt value rise it also looks much much nicer. If you can get hold of a signed photo of Bertrand to accompany the shirt in the frame then it will set it apart from the rest. My Clyne match worn is getting the same treatment as is my yellow third kit from last season.

 

Sounds cheeky but I emailed the club and they sent me a hand signed photo of Clyne through the post, they are really good when it comes to things like that.

I'm in touch with the chap LGTL recommended in the 2nd post as well , I just thought the eBay version would be another cheaper Option ! good idea about getting a signed photo though , thanks for the tip I'll fire of an email tomorrow , to be fair though Bertrand autograph is a bit strange !

I bought a cheap but nice STRÖMBY frame at Ikea and it works perfectly fine.

Update : went with premiershirtframing in the end , it's going to cost £140 including postage back to me , should be with me early next week .

Why on earth are they charging £140 for a frame? What am I missing?

There's an art shop in Hiltingbury Road that does picture framing including football shirts. I've no idea of prices but might be worth a call.
