Mr X Posted 24 December, 2015 Share Posted 24 December, 2015 The next three games will have a huge bearing on wether we are well and truly sucked into a relegation fight or we can battle on to a couple of much needed wins! Saints vs Arsenal - Loss 3-0 (or worse) Saints vs west ham (away) 2-2 draw Saints vs Norwich (away) 2-0 loss Which gives us a point from three games, will that be enough? What do you predict? sadoldgit Posted 24 December, 2015 Share Posted 24 December, 2015 I live in hope that at some point in the next three games the team can find the form they showed when ripping Chelsea apart. If we carry on playing as we have done recently - 1 point from 9.

If we carry on playing as we have done recently - 1 point from 9. Things will get better because they can't get much worse, but whether or not that means we get points from games is another matter. Winnersaint Posted 24 December, 2015 Share Posted 24 December, 2015 Regrettably a distinct possibility. Think most of the GD damage will be done on Saturday with a couple of narrow defeats in the other two. We're just stuck in a bit of a rut at the moment. VectisSaint Posted 24 December, 2015 Share Posted 24 December, 2015 Which gives us a point from three games, will that be enough? Enough for what? For the Board to take action and replace Ron, probably not. To put us in relegation zone, probably, or very close. I predict 4 points, DLW or LDW

Miltonaggro Posted 24 December, 2015 Share Posted 24 December, 2015 Merry Christmas Milton ! Sorry Dalek, this time of year I always feel a bit like Scrooge as a Saints fan, we usually dip out on the Christmas cheer. On recent form I can see us tonked by Arsenal, and outfought by WHU and Norwich. Squad needs a freshen up to provide quality and competition... Nordic Saint Posted 24 December, 2015 Share Posted 24 December, 2015 Have we got Chambers back ? Wow ! The latest is that the deal is for an initial 18 month loan. In exchange we have had to give them first option on Wanyama. This is all gleaned from the internet. I am not ITK. As the Norwich game is on January 1st, he probably won't be available for any of those 3 games.

Need to cancel or convert one of our existing loans before we could take him on loan. Window officially opens on the 2nd. Will be at least 4th January before this could happen due to the holidays and weekend. Really not sure I believe some of the other stuff, 18 month loan for instance, that's not even technically "legal", and why would we agree to anything tied up with Vic. I agree Chambers should never of left us, out of his depth when playing for Arsenal at centre back where he has been made to look stupid at times when he plays that position but no doubt's he is a quality RB and made his debut for England while playing for us when he covering for Clyne at RB while is was injured, he would never be given a start at RB position at Arsenal as he is behind Bellerín and Debuchy in pecking order as Arsene doesn't believe in him

Cabrone Posted 25 December, 2015 Share Posted 25 December, 2015 Sadly I can see 3 losses, a relegation dogfight and very low morale based on what is currently being served up. Big Ron needs to kick some ass and shake this team up, they are sleepwalking into trouble. A consistent goal scorer is a priority in the Jan window too. Saint Fan CaM Posted 26 December, 2015 Share Posted 26 December, 2015 Sadly can see a loss against Arse - probably 1-4. Wet Spam we may get lucky with a draw...1-1. Norwich away probably a loss where we have 65% possession, they have a couple of attempts on goal and score from both...2-0. So 1 point from 9 and in trouble. The Board need to splash out on Remy, starting playing Mane central and put some trust in Ramirez to bring some much needed pace and creativity to the side. I don't believe the Chambers rumours and certainly don't believe Wanyama's currency is as high as some make out...he is nowhere near the level required by Arse for example.
