For your information it was in the Sunday People on 4th April 2015 in an article by Steve Stammers and Steven Bates headed "Manchester City plotting £20m move for Southampton starlet James Ward-Prowse." No offence By the way Batman, there is a big difference to hounding someone all day, which is what you get from the likes of CB Fry, Hypo and Sour Mash, and asking for a reply to a question a couple of times, which is what I did.

Sadly, we don't have a midfielder that can get ahead of the ball, get into the box and finish. Neither do we have a player that can take people on and score from outside the box; instead we try to walk it in with too many passes and flicks (Pelle). I'd be tempted to play a 442 with a diamond midfield. Pelle and Mane up top, JWP wide right, Tadic left, Clasie dm, Davis am, usual back 5. This would give us more of a focal point up front, and more width and protection to the full backs. Tadic and JWP can cross for Pelle to nod down for Mane and Davis in support.

igsey Posted 23 December, 2015 Posted 23 December, 2015 Mane and Pelle need to develop the relationship that Lallana and Lambert had in their final season - knowing where the other is, freedom of the final third, taking their time and playing intelligent balls. There's too much hoofing at the moment for my liking. I pretty much agree with everybody else that Wanyama needs to spend some time on the bench or with the U21s, he's not on it at all at the moment. Consistency would be nice especially in the attacking players, but I do think we need an actual backup plan that's been worked on beforehand when Pelle is getting shut down, rather than chucking on Juanmi with 15 minutes left and nobody knowing what they're supposed to be doing. It's a plan B but it's obviously not one that's being actively worked on in training. Getting some kind of result from a very in-form Arsenal would do us the world of good.
