Whitey Grandad Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 In the Italian press. http://m.calcionews24.com/calciomercato-chelsea-ultimissime-pelle-mourinho-southampton-470514.html Surely not? Getting into the silly season. They can't even get the accent on his name right, there are three versions in there somewhere and the €35m refers to Falcao, I believe. In any case, it all hangs on Mourinho still being there next month.
adrian lord Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 It may be a tad harsh, but I can't see them wanting more ageing, immobile players on the roster.
Hatch Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 If Mourinho goes I would thought they would go for a more established and experienced manager

In any case, it all hangs on Mourinho still being there next month. Like anyone is going to pay 35 million € for Falcao, finished as a serious footballer. Unless of course someone is looking to move that sort of sum to Monaco for some reason or other.
Saint Garrett Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 Ha crikey...maybe they just want to weaken their relegation rivals?!
Whitey Grandad Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 If Mourinho goes I would thought they would go for a more established and experienced manager Ranieri. You heard it here first
angelman Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 Torygraph reporting the link in the OP as well http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/12055216/Chelsea-transfer-news-and-rumours-Southampton-forward-Graziano-Pelle-linked-with-Stamford-Bridge-move.html So what's that Juve, Man U and Chelsea want him.
Batman Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 obviously, seeing this is in the red-tops. not one part of it is true I'd sell him and bring in Austin personally. Just not a fan of pelle at all
FloridaMarlin Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 Given Mourinho's status, I would think it doubtful they would give him a pile of cash to spend in January. If they don't get past PSG in the Champions League, he's toast. People on here moaning about Pelle, but while I take these links with a huge pinch of salt it's clear e does offer a different option. He's a great target man who holds the ball up well and if you have midfield players who are prepared to gamble and run off and beyond him, it presents a different ploy. I'm surprised we don't use it. Plus, give him the ball in the right areas and he will score. Still chuckle at the Juve link every time I see it.
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 Can't see why he'd want to join a side lower down the table. Always wanted to say that about Chelsea...
badgerx16 Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 Can't see why he'd want to join a side lower down the table. Always wanted to say that about Chelsea... On the radio on Tuesday I heard them referred to as "Premier League strugglers Chelsea".
CB Fry Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 If Chelsea are going to go for a flavour of the month panic buy they might as well lump in for Vardy and be done with it.
DT Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 The special one...million pound pay-off (times about 20) Pep talk needed
positivepete Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 The Times had an article a couple of days ago where it was stated that Chelsea were impressed with Koeman, and he will be on their short list. Maybe that is where the link with Pelle comes in.
positivepete Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 The special one...million pound pay-off (times about 20) Pep talk needed Would Pep go there with no Champions League next season?
Whitey Grandad Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 Would Pep go there with no Champions League next season? Not unless they win it this year.
SaintZamboni Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 The Times had an article a couple of days ago where it was stated that Chelsea were impressed with Koeman, and he will be on their short list. Maybe that is where the link with Pelle comes in. I'd take a trade. Koeman Out, Jose in.
david in sweden Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 obviously, seeing this is in the red-tops. not one part of it is true I'd sell him and bring in Austin personally. Just not a fan of pelle at all ........and that's not the daftest suggestion I've heard today, either ......
southbourne saint Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 Pelle for Remy would suit us surely.
supersonic Posted 17 December, 2015 Posted 17 December, 2015 They're desperate, but surely not that desperate?
