Batman Posted 13 December, 2015 Posted 13 December, 2015 Englands group England Russia Wales Slovakia decent group also, winners of this group will face a 3rd placed side in the next round have to win the group, surely Rep. Ireland are screwed
LGTL Posted 13 December, 2015 Posted 13 December, 2015 Will be doing the Russia game but unfortunately the joys of teaching mean I can't get to the other two. Let's be honest, we should top the group.
bazza Posted 13 December, 2015 Posted 13 December, 2015 We're screwed too with Germany, Poland & Ukraine in Group C. I'll still be at all three games though - it might be another 30 years before I get another chance to go to a Finals Tournment!
Whitey Grandad Posted 13 December, 2015 Posted 13 December, 2015 I expect nothing and I don't expect to be disappointed.
The9 Posted 14 December, 2015 Posted 14 December, 2015 Booked hotels in July 2015, booked flights Southampton to Paris last Friday (after working out that it was cheaper and easier than Eurostar), now on my second ticket application for matches in Lens, Lille, and both Paris venues. Bloody UEFA only offering ridiculous priced tickets for Switzerland v Albania - which will be half empty and selling outside for 20 Euros... still, see what we can get and swap them in March if we get any.
St_Tel49 Posted 18 May, 2016 Posted 18 May, 2016 Enjoy - wish I was going but no luck with the tickets. PS Did you see the unofficial Anthem for NI sung by the London Northern Ireland Supporters Club tonight on The One Show - I liked it.

And singing is one of them! lol
humber Posted 21 May, 2016 Posted 21 May, 2016 HI have 2 Czech republic v turkey cat 3 looking to swap for: Winner group B or winner group D or Czech republic v Croatia or england v wales Thanks
bazza Posted 24 May, 2016 Posted 24 May, 2016 I wouldn't be overly impressed if I was an English or Welsh fan going to the game: http://http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36372446
bazza Posted 25 May, 2016 Posted 25 May, 2016 (edited) Saints will be represented by a few flags (or flegs) in the stadia next month at our matches. Keep your eyes peeled! [/url] Edited 25 May, 2016 by bazza
willhall05 Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Do we thin the winner will come from either France or Germany? Will there be a surprise team?
bazza Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Do we thin the winner will come from either France or Germany? Will there be a surprise team? France for me.
Winnersaint Posted 7 June, 2016 Posted 7 June, 2016 We're screwed too with Germany, Poland & Ukraine in Group C. I'll still be at all three games though - it might be another 30 years before I get another chance to go to a Finals Tournment! Enjoy! By a quirk of Fleet Air Arm stationing I was born in NI albeit to very English parents (Southampton and Sussex). I only spent six months there well before I can remember, but I will be rooting for the team as I did in 82 and 86.
Batman Posted 8 June, 2016 Author Posted 8 June, 2016 dislike wales. Ireland is not even in the UK and should not get as much attention as they appear to do. Northern Ireland though, will be great to see them win (not against England of course)

Seriously dude, what is the beef with Ireland? I know that you struggle with foreigners but we even have someone in the team.

I didn't realise the Fleet Air Arm used to have bases at home, had to Google it earlier & educate myself. At the very least it'll be novel in the group stage having home nations other than England involved.

Many of us will remember the annual air days there. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/RNAS_Lee-on-Solent_(HMS_Daedalus) I too shall be cheering for NI and all the other home nations. It would be something to have two more f us in the final
