Window Cleaner Posted 12 December, 2015 Share Posted 12 December, 2015 Everton go 1-0 away to Norwich. can see united getting done at bournemouth and chelsea at leicester Norwich are an awful side, shouldn't be allowed to take the PL's money with a side as bad as that. Personally I can see the start of Leicester's inevitable decline starting today, Chelsea will eventually click and someone will get atomised. Saint Charlie Posted 12 December, 2015 Share Posted 12 December, 2015 Deulofeu an absolute bargain at £4m for Everton. Class wide player. Their whole team looks excellent when they don't have players missing. Lukaku an excellent allround striker, midfield solid and creative. Good full backs and Stones is superb. GK their only weakness. VectisSaint Posted 12 December, 2015 Share Posted 12 December, 2015 Seriously how did we lose to United? Because we sat bsck and let them dictate after we scored. Same ss we only drew against Leicester and nearly threw it away against Boscombe. But some people still think things are going well this season. whelk Posted 13 December, 2015 Share Posted 13 December, 2015 Think the main frustration about Saints season for me is how awful so many other teams are. Man Utd are average at best, Chelsea have been dire, Arsenal alright, Man City erratic, Liverpool too. If ever there was a season to perform for a smaller club this is it. If we'd been the Saints of last season we'd be right up the top now. It's not like we're miles off being a good team, but things have descended into a mess pretty quickly. Teh argument used is that other clubs are getting closer to the big clubs but is odd how all the big teams are seemingly so dodgy as the money goes up and up. Window Cleaner Posted 13 December, 2015 Share Posted 13 December, 2015 How the hell did we not even beat Villa? I mean how didn't we destroy them? Awful, awful side and only 6 points at this stage? From the outside it just seems they've accepted relegation is coming for a few years. I don't really get the financial side at the moment. Big stadium, years and years in the top flight, big TV money, sold lots of talent, yet no money? Bizarre. Isn't their owner desperately trying to sell them ? Probably needs to minimise debt to make them an attractive buy. They did buy quite a few players but I think they have some injuries and others that they bought were pretty mediocre. Few frenchmen IIRC, now French players look good in their league but when the fall into the comparison of really decent players they are often severely lacking in any useful attribute. Bloody annoying to see us blow up the way we have....everyone can beat everyone else it seems....except we can't win or perform. Not sure where our next points are coming from. Maybe I'm being too pessimistic but we never seem to do much against spurs since we've returned to the PL. Can see them getting a bollocking from Poch and being really fired up for the game at SMS. If so we will struggle to live with them.
