Pilchards Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 It's going to be Exeter, I sometimes have these moments where I stare at names and one highlights forward. I'm so confident that I will book my weekend away now.
Whitey Grandad Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 It's going to be Exeter, I sometimes have these moments where I stare at names and one highlights forward. I'm so confident that I will book my weekend away now. But we might be at home?
ericb Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Only one possible draw i actually want, the Skates at Fratton. Despite our current form we'd decimate the c*nts at the moment. I mean imagine Saido and Pelle against their back line? It'd be carnage.
WealdSaint Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Have a feeling in might be Sheff Und and we will see Nigel again
aintforever Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Getting the Skates would be great but it would be funnier if Eastleigh knocked them out.
Whitey Grandad Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Getting the Skates would be great but it would be funnier if Eastleigh knocked them out. And took their place in the League next season
stevegrant Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Away draw preferable, against the following: 1. Pompey 2. Eastleigh 3. Bradford, Newport, Grimsby/Shrewsbury, Bury, Whitehawk (think they'll beat Dagenham in the replay), Oxford - in no particular order of preference.
CB Saint Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 I hope Eastleigh get one of the big boys away - cracking pay day for them
bpsaint Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Love the buzz of 3rd round draw day, please draw the s****s at home!
Whitey Grandad Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 What the hell is that racket going on in the background?
Batman Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 some very good ties this round saints get drawn at home to palace ffs
DG Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Palace? ZZZZZZZZZ Eastleigh get Bolton, Skates away to Ipswich.
Batman Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 that looked like hartson picked chelsea's ball there
SaintZamboni Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Boring. Go to the Eastleigh game instead.
doddisalegend Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 what a load of old crap could have had some fun games but that is such a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz draw.
Window Cleaner Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 A rubbish draw for saints and for palace that! FFS Palace is a winnable game for us I think, should get a decent crowd which is more than we would have done with a northern crap outfit at St Mary's.
shurlock Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Palace is a winnable game for us I think, should get a decent crowd which is more than we would have done with a northern crap outfit at St Mary's. That's what people said last season...
doddisalegend Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Palace is a winnable game for us I think, should get a decent crowd which is more than we would have done with a northern crap outfit at St Mary's. Doubt it unless they drop the prices big time. No one really wanted to watch us play another PL team.
Edmonton Saint Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Palace is a winnable game for us I think, should get a decent crowd which is more than we would have done with a northern crap outfit at St Mary's. It was a winnable tie last year as well, but we still managed to **** it up.
LGTL Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Wanted away to some utter hell hole I haven't been. End up with the worst possible draw.
bpsaint Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 I reckon that's about the most boring 3rd round draw I've ever seen.
Batman Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 I reckon that's about the most boring 3rd round draw I've ever seen. really? some good ties in there shyte for us and palace but some decent games
Mr Biscuits Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Shame, I was really hoping for a better game than that in round three. All depends how seriously the team want to take the FA cup this season.
Window Cleaner Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 It was a winnable tie last year as well, but we still managed to **** it up. But not in the 3rd round surely, we got a draw at home to ipswich and won the replay didn't we ?
Griffo Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 We'll have a reduced Northam, the atmosphere will be w*nk and Palace have a good away record. Zzzz
bpsaint Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 really? some good ties in there shyte for us and palace but some decent games Not a fan really bats, Eastleigh have a good tie, as do Whitehawk if they can potentially get through the replay, other than that I find it a bit meh. Fully expect Spurs/Leicester, man Utd/sheff Utd, and Everton/Whitehawk assuming they get through all being on tv. Reckon Eastleigh have a shout too as there's definitely chance for an upset there given form and Boltons off field issues.
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 In the old days lots of fans would have settled for a home draw in the expectation that we could win and progress and maybe even win the FA Cup. Years of failure seem to have driven the expectation out of us.
sadoldgit Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Home draw, okay by me And we beat Palace on the way to Wembley in 1976...
Batman Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 I know we are not in an exclusive club. but it seems we are a pretty poor cup side for a long time gutting
Saint Charlie Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 I know we are not in an exclusive club. but it seems we are a pretty poor cup side for a long time gutting What can be "gutting" about a 3rd round cup draw?
sadoldgit Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Cheer up Batman, we haven't been knocked out of the FA Cup yet!
Batman Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 What can be "gutting" about a 3rd round cup draw? nothing?

Exeter v Klopp will be televised 100000000000%, not sure how they can justify Man Utd v Sheff Utd - that would only work if United were away. if the game is priced sensibly (like it was last year - SOLD OUT) and the league cup and European home games were this year (even Villa at home was Sold out) then i think we'll have a big crowd, it will impact attendances in other games though, not many fans after Christmas will want to pay out for Saints v Palace 9th Jan, Saints v Watford - 13th Jan and Saints v West Brom 16th Jan! what a week of top class football @ Stadio Santa Maria.
CB Fry Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 I know we are not in an exclusive club. but it seems we are a pretty poor cup side for a long time gutting Apart from the six richest clubs in the land, who would you say is a good cup side?
doddisalegend Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Apart from the six richest clubs in the land, who would you say is a good cup side? I thought it was Portsmyth......
Dalek2003 Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 Good tie to make an honourable 1-0 exit. Then, concentrate on the EPL.
Lets B Avenue Posted 7 December, 2015 Posted 7 December, 2015 I know we are not in an exclusive club. but it seems we are a pretty poor cup side for a long time gutting Never mind. You can still sit at home and wipe the vitriol of your computer screen.
