Unbelievable Jeff Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 I'm not sure if we need a change... I wonder how much of last season was due to the transition from Pochettino. I just don't know anymore. Bring in Bielsa.
Batman Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 I'm not sure if we need a change... I wonder how much of last season was due to the transition from Pochettino. I just don't know anymore. Bring in Bielsa. I believe it was and suggest that the other week We had a team drilled by Poch and Koeman moulded that into his side. Any influence on a Poch side has gone completely
SO16_Saint Posted 2 December, 2015 Author Posted 2 December, 2015 Like I said, I'm not saying he should go - now - but we've never had this situation in the last 6 years and not really sure how quickly the Board reach for the axe
CB Fry Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 There was that Dutch lad on here that said Koeman is a con artist and always sh it in his second season. If anyone can find that post, gold star.
S-Clarke Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Like I said, I'm not saying he should go - now - but we've never had this situation in the last 6 years and not really sure how quickly the Board reach for the axe You've got a short memory.
SO16_Saint Posted 2 December, 2015 Author Posted 2 December, 2015 You've got a short memory. Adkins? Completely different situation to this.
CB Fry Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Like I said, I'm not saying he should go - now - but we've never had this situation in the last 6 years and not really sure how quickly the Board reach for the axe What "situation" are we in? Is 10th in the top flight a "situation" now?
adrian lord Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Worrying thing is that Koeman doesn't look particularly bothered.
Dalek2003 Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 What "situation" are we in? Is 10th in the top flight a "situation" now? If we win well against Villa, things will calm down. If we lose or even draw we could be in trouble.
S-Clarke Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Adkins? Completely different situation to this. So that's not 6 years ago then? But people seem to be jumping slightly overboard right now. 3 games we've lost in a row, before that we'd had a terrific run. Under MP we had a trash run which resulted in us being kicked out of the FA Cup, being thrashed by WHU and losing heavily to Liverpool at home.
Saint Charlie Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Poor result but Koeman's job isn't anywhere near under threat. Laughable.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Poor result but Koeman's job isn't anywhere near under threat. Laughable. Well we do have some idiots on here mate , glad you think it's a joke too
simo Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Lost the plot with tactics tonight! Has held his hands up for that tbf to him , said he chased the game!
Saint Charlie Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Has held his hands up for that tbf to him , said he chased the game! Game was done when the third went in. Hard to blame him for trying something.
Dark Munster Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Lost the plot with tactics tonight! First half we were undone by individual errors in defense, coupled with ruthless finishing and a superb strike. I wasn't able to watch the second half (lucky me), but presumably it was a case of going for shit or bust.
sadoldgit Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Worrying thing is that Koeman doesn't look particularly bothered. I am sure he is. He isn't the sort to take this with a pinch of salt but at the same time he doesn't lose it. We need him to have a cool head right now. He has a lot to sort out before the Villa game.

We need him to have a cool head right now. He has a lot to sort out before the Villa game. Its one of his best traits anyway, a calm character.
gammon cheeks Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Lost the plot with tactics tonight! Don't know if I agree with that! We started off brilliant and Victor should have made it 2 0 ...think the 3 rd goal killed us and I thought he got it right with tactics for 2nd half.... Pelle had a stinker and our lack of buying quality is starting to catch up with us.....bur credit to Liverpool there were a class above us their movement and fitness was on a different level to ours and although I hate to say it Lallana was a constant threat with his movement link up play and energy. Midfield was **** poor ..only threat was from mane and tadic ....where are all the youngsters coming through? Liverpool had plenty!
Patrick Bateman Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Worrying thing is that Koeman doesn't look particularly bothered. What? He looked f**king livid. You can protect your staff and team on camera, but he does have the look of a very p*ssed off manager. I expect we'll destroy Villa now.
saint lard Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Besides the atrocious decision making by RK at times I'm getting quite concerned about the state of our U21's and academy sides.....the conveyor belt seems to have halted. I'm very worried.....the second rate signings made are exactly that, barring a couple. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
kermitsaint Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Tbh imho we have not looked that convincing all this season . Koeman is not doing himself any favours . Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

Wade Garrett Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Koeman has done a magnificent job. If I was Liebherr, I'd let him run the club top to bottom, and get rid of some of the amateurs getting in his way.

Roger Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Not Koemans fault. Lost all his best players and given nothing to spend hardly this season. Only club to make a profit. The board aren't bothered with taking us forward yet say they are aiming for champs league
Sour Mash Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 All the talk is of if Koeman will sign a new contract or not when it comes up. At what point does that question get taken out of his hands and his position comes under threat. I'm not saying he is now, or even ever will be, but what will it take for Ralph et al to wield the axe? Long-standing bottom 5 of the league. Which won't happen, so not too relevant really.
Sour Mash Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 I believe it was and suggest that the other week We had a team drilled by Poch and Koeman moulded that into his side. Any influence on a Poch side has gone completely How can it be? We played in a different style with different players. No actual logic there.

alehouseboys Posted 3 December, 2015 Posted 3 December, 2015 I'd rather keep the manager and sack the board. I'd rather keep the manager, keep the board and sack our numpty fans.
Pengi Posted 3 December, 2015 Posted 3 December, 2015 Often wondered if the Toby situation was a turning point for the club and Koeman. Sign Toby and it would have made a big statement to our team that we can keep the top players. To lose Toby to a non-CL club (as they were then), just made me realise how hard it is going to be to build a good team whilst losing the top players.
doddisalegend Posted 3 December, 2015 Posted 3 December, 2015 Well this is predictable. Last night was ****e we have been a bit ****e the last 3 games but then we've had ****e patches every season since we got back to the PL.
Sour Mash Posted 3 December, 2015 Posted 3 December, 2015 I'd rather keep the manager, keep the board and sack our numpty fans. This.

Miltonaggro Posted 3 December, 2015 Posted 3 December, 2015 Koeman has done a magnificent job. If I was Liebherr, I'd let him run the club top to bottom, and get rid of some of the amateurs getting in his way. Now there's a thought!...

I hate to be a bit of a bed wetter but it has shades of a very troubled season ahead with injuries.

eddie Posted 3 December, 2015 Posted 3 December, 2015 Worrying thing is that Koeman doesn't look particularly bothered. seriously? he was furious last night and was also after the city/stoke games his only problem (or strength) is he puts a lot of faith in players. he stuck with poor performers last season even through the patchy periods where they weren't playing well. last night, he played caulker who was abysmal. he puts faith in them and they don't perform. maybe he isn't as ruthless as other managers, I don't know
