redkeith Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 If the worst player in League Une last season smacks one in the top corner, you know you're luck is out. Clearly our black box is having some problems, and also if Cedric was to be signed originally as the cover for Clyne ( if he extended) then we needed good competition at Right Back. Replacing Morgan for anything under £20M was clearly impossible, so Claise and Romeu is a decent attempt. However when everyone apart from Villa and Bournemouth are signing a £10M number 10 in the summer, our investment policy is definitely lagging behind. Beat Villa (please), stay up and think again.
Batman Posted 2 December, 2015 Author Posted 2 December, 2015 Second to virtually every ball. Fitness? with some gash 2nd half performances lately. Maybe
Delmary Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Our normal high pressing games has been missing for the last three games.
Jonnyboy Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Lots of innuendo re saints only club who make a transfer surplus ... He was not mincing his words. As Dalek said, U21 keep getting a hammering. I see a conflict in the interests of the club ... Spending money v bringing through youth Bound to catch up with us sooner or later.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 This is so frustrating to watch after 6 years of progress we have certainly peaked
sadoldgit Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 You're polar opposites. Just as bad as one another when it comes to objective views about SFC. Well at least I try to be optimistic and not see a negative in everything, but if that is a problem, sorry.
Chris27687 Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 clasie needs to get up to pace quickly and we need to stop knocking it ****ing long at every opportunity. Mane looks like a man playing with boys.
Batman Posted 2 December, 2015 Author Posted 2 December, 2015 Long embarrassing. definitely, a £12m player. DEFINITELY
Dig Dig Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Our normal high pressing games has been missing for the last three games. It's not really been consistently present for a good while longer than the last three games. We play in shape and compact.
Edmonton Saint Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Dismal. Where is the leadership out there?
Batman Posted 2 December, 2015 Author Posted 2 December, 2015 6-1 LOL, jesus when was the last time we got done like this?
Shance Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 This performance has been a ****ing disgrace. Koeman needs to sort this **** out. We've all of a sudden turned into a long ball team that sits off. ****ing unacceptable.
JxgrSaint Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Absolute disgrace of a performance - thank Christ no-one travelled to Liverpool to see this....
BotleySaint Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 6-1 and still time on the clock. Sent from my GT-I9506 using Tapatalk
Saint Without a Halo Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 At least Lallana and Lovren haven't scored. Yet
IronCitySaint Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Seems like the upward spiral is now over. This is the most horrendous performance for many a long year. Players have given up completely. You can't rebuild the team every year and expect it to go well year after year. This could be a very long season if Koeman can't turn this around very quickly. Worried about Saturday now, and Villa look hopeless.
Special K Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Caulker has been ****ing diabolical. Seriously abysmal.
DG Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Bad trend of results, plus we were crap in 2nd halves v Leicester and Bournemouth too. Koeman needs to address it quickly.
adrian lord Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 We could lose 6-1 at this rate That was prescient.
BotleySaint Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Team looks totally lost. Sent from my GT-I9506 using Tapatalk
Isla Wight Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 The sooner Wanyama goes the better......not interested in being here. Guess Koeman will really be earning his money in the coming weeks.
badgerx16 Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 ..... This could be a very long season if Koeman can't turn this around very quickly..... I'm not sure he can. The whole setup seems to be stagnant.
Chalkboy Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Feel physically sick. Losing like this to them. Looking forward to playing Spurs for more torment.
S-Clarke Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 I never want to see Caulker play in this team again, ever. Sod off back to QPR. Trash
obelisk Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Only 2 minutes added on. Best decision we've had from the ref.
Dig Dig Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 We've terrible at home this season on the whole. Hard to have a good season in the end when you consistently get turned over at home. 3 against Utd, 3 against Everton, 2 against Leicester and now 6 tonight
nta786 Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Arsenal two years back...6-1 That was 3 years back lol
adrian lord Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Thing is, Koeman doesn't look that bothered.
Yorkshire Saint Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Thing is, Koeman doesn't look that bothered. Agreed he was smiling shaking Klopps hand...do NOT like to see that
Special K Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 I never want to see Caulker play in this team again, ever. Sod off back to QPR. Trash As much as a knee jerk this may seem, it really isn't. Far worse than Yoshida.
nta786 Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Long is so, so poor. Touch, decision making. His movement is good, he actually gets a large number of chances in the box. Would be a 25 goal striker if he had the touch, composure and technique! Wanyama and several others really haven't looked bothered as the last couple went in. Just a crap Vardy really.
Mr X Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 suddenly yoshida isn't looking so bad when compared to caulker & the featherweight classie!
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 As expected the hysteria on here is abundant. Not a great night to put it mildly but some of the reactions are as embarrassing as the score line. It's all about the response on Saturday..
doc oli Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 The caulker effect. 10 yards off the pace. For once playing yoshida would have been the sensible option.
pangy Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 JWP booting that ball in Can's face is the best thing he has ever done in a saints shirt
BotleySaint Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Caulker simply not up to the required standard. Hopefully Koeman can sort this mess out for the next game. But he does seem to struggle to work out what is wrong sometimes. So who knows. Sent from my GT-I9506 using Tapatalk
doc oli Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Some of the passing/interplay wasn't too bad. Just brittle as **** at the back.
bazza Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Wanyama continuing his hot streak but everyone was pretty gash. Awful capitulation in the second half. Criminal really.
Chalkboy Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 Thing is, Koeman doesn't look that bothered. And if he doesn't look bothered why should the team.
Jonnyboy Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 suddenly yoshida isn't looking so bad when compared to caulker & the featherweight classie! Indeed. Just been laughing at your, and others, comments in the build up thread.
UpweySaint Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 As expected the hysteria on here is abundant. Not a great night to put it mildly but some of the reactions are as embarrassing as the score line. It's all about the response on Saturday.. I think the issue is we've had some absolute mares this season and our patchy form is a massive disappointment considering the upward trajectory we have been on. But tonight was seriously f**king embarrassing. Some players looked to have given up after the second goal.
S-Clarke Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 As much as a knee jerk this may seem, it really isn't. Far worse than Yoshida. Can't really be a knee-jerk to be honest, he has been that bad. not just this game, but the last 3 seasons. He's trash.
Verbal Kint Posted 2 December, 2015 Posted 2 December, 2015 wanyama and several others really haven't looked bothered as the last couple went in. Including Koeman. Does anyone have a clue what formation we were playing in that second half or who was playing where? When Fonte isn't on the pitch you see the true character of this team, including a manager who laughs when shaking hands after his team have conceded 6
