Window Cleaner Posted 29 November, 2015 Share Posted 29 November, 2015 Good to win a major trophy but exactly how did a team like Belgium get to the final . Sorry I don't follow tennis and might have missed a season ending injury to a belgian megastar or something. I mean their girls were good at one time, that I do know. In fact Klisters and Henin were probably better than their number 2 laddy this weekend, and certainly better at doubles. Perhaps they camped up for the qualifiers or something. krissyboy31 Posted 29 November, 2015 Share Posted 29 November, 2015 Beat a weakened Swiss team, then Canada, then Argentina. http://www.daviscup.com/en/draws-results/world-group.aspx To say GB won it is a bit rich really, Andy Murray pretty much won it single handed, winning all 11 points he played for. Edit. GB beat USA, Australia and France on the way to the final, so even if our final opponents weren't the very best, we've earnt it.

Andy Murray is British the last time I looked. I think he was born in the Scottish part of Great Britain but not entirely sure. And then there's the back room staff...no idea where they were born... http://www.sportinglife.com/tennis/news/article/553/10077869/the-secret-of-gbs-success
