Jan on radio -no one leaving

without turning this into question time disecting the prime ministers words, think it is reassuring as I believe he was being honest.

I do not for a minute take this as a guarantee that no-one will move as all it takes is an approach from a club and/or agent, however I don't believe that he would have said that if, as quoted on here, it is guaranteed that Lallana, Surman and Kelvin (Calvin!) have gone and deals already done.

probably but another 20 nil nil's would get us 20 points at least.

please rupert get someone over 25 who is over 6foot and LIKES TO head the ball along way, please do not get a player who can pass it along the back four

and isn't injured

Given all the platitudes, excuses and mutterings from jan on that site to date, whatever he now says has little worth in my eyes.

I initially felt sorry for him accepting a job that was obviously out of his league, but with every game that passes and with every platitude and promise he spouts, that sympathy is quickly evaporating.

He really should do the right thing and stand down.

Totally agree. I remember i got slated on a thread were everyone was talking about how great he was because he went to the pub and said everything will be alright! And i said i would rather have points on the board then a guy who goes down the pub to tell people its alright....Roll on 3 months or however long its been and we have a guy who sounds like a broken record who has taken the club to our lowest position in its history. He has gone from nice guy to complete jack ass in my opinion. Like if you read his comments to the BBC after the game he says about the red card "It wasent a red card, it was a normal tackle"....That to me shows how little he understands football but more importantly english football. A tackle where you jump in the air at speed with your studs aimed at a player while being over the ball is anything but a normal tackle, it is a horror tackle that thankfully didnt go the same way as previous lunges like that where a player spends years out due to a broken leg. If that happened would he say the same thing? The guy just looks for excuses rather then accept any blame at all.

Can't anyone keep their powder dry on this forum?

There could be cause for some serious I-told-you-so-ing, but I'm waiting until gone 5pm before I start dishing it out. Anything could happen in twenty minutes.

Roger Bannister could run 5 miles for a start.

Well if it turns out to be true and we dont lose any of the players i will be happy and will give a bit of respect to Lowe and Jan. However if it doesnt quite happen like that then Jan will look a even bigger muppet then he already does. Either that or he doesnt speak to Lowe very much so has no idea what the dark lord has in store for his young padawan.

Still not sure I do!

oh and Saga returning and playing! - that was not happening either.

I think we have come out of the window stronger than we went into it.

Saga is a big, big plus, Saeijs is looking good. Molyneux and Smith, not so good, and this new guy I'm not expecting much from.

Cork was a big loss, Pearce less so, and Pekhart and Robertson .............

The biggest plus is Saga, as finally we have someone who knows where the net is.

I just hope we haven't left it too late.

don't get me wrong, not full of the joys of spring and saying we have world beaters, but agree we are stronger.

Main point was I do get fed up with the fact that slightest comment that we may not sell etc and you are a happy clappy and totally unrealistic -so grant me my short moment!

but where does it leave us financially now that we have failed to shift Euell, Skacel and Saga nor got reasonable bids for Dyer, Surman, Kelvin or Lallana.
