whelk Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 Yoshida, while crap, has been hung out to dry by Mane (defensively). No just too ponderous and doesn't know what to do
doddisalegend Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 The selection didn't make Wanyama as bad as he was for the first 25 minutes or so though did it? Bloke doesn't want to be here. Neatly illustrating why forcing players to stay isn't always the best thing to do.
captainchris Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 The buck stops with Koeman who like Yosh makes too many strange decisions. Our preparation for games is terrible, too often asleep early on??? Tactics are so questionable and have been for a long while. The tactic of sitting back and not pressing will not work in this league, this is something RK needs to recognise fast...
USA SaintsFan Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 Some on this forum are a ****ing disgrace. All the whining and complaining... "Yoshida is ****, what is koeman doing?, why so defensive, why so offensive, JWP is terrible" just get behind the ****ing team! We are losing, but **** happens. It's Manchester City and we are still in the game! With a little luck it could have been 2-1 right now and back in it. The real fans ar the ones supporting up in Manchester, not those complaining on the forum!
Mallagroth Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 We gifted the goals, Man city looks pretty average to me today, but we are just handing it to them on a plate. For me Koeman is at fault for tactics and RB choice...again. Wanyama needs to sort his passing out, he has given the ball away in dangerous areas over and over again today. We could have beaten City playing like they are but instead we ****ed it up. Something seems 'off' with the team, we rarely find any consistent rhythm in our play this season.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 His passing would suggest he wants to be at City.
Donatello Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 No just too ponderous and doesn't know what to do They're not mutually exclusive.
Mystic Force Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 Half time thoughts.... What you gain from playing Yoshida at full back is far less than what you lose. Wanyama can't pass, Schniederlin made him look better than he really is I wonder if Tottenham still want him. His teammates have stopped passing to him if they have options. In general we have been poor and deserve to be losing. Hoping for a better second half.

Window Cleaner Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 Neatly illustrating why forcing players to stay isn't always the best thing to do. Depends on the mentality of the players of course. Some buckle down, some don't give a furk. Wanyama will always be in the Kenyan XI even if he was playing for Vospers on a Sunday, he has no incentive to continue to give 100%. Morgan was different, ease up and DD dumps ya.

You mean the Koeman who took us to our highest ever PL position last season with the same tactics.....

Leo_ARG Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 I just don't get Koeman. Never will. He insists on playing both Davis and JWP, they are basically the same player. It's one or the other. If you want to rest Tadic, put Juanmi in and see what he can do. The Yoshida at RB experiment should be over but you never know with RK...
Donatello Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 (I hope you're aware that was tongue in cheek)
Batman Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 game on long scores...... not sure if the ref should have pulled the game back for us there but who cares lol
Plastic Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 Oh look, long scores. You were saying Greenridge?
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 (I hope you're aware that was tongue in cheek) Of course
Dalek2003 Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 Great to score, hope we wake up and not City !
Batman Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 Long doing well as a lone forward, actually offering movement and closing all the defenders down yoshida causes a yellow for JWP
Saint Benali Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 Take JWP off for Ramirez or Juanmi and we can get something.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 We are playing well now, but doubt the moaners want to admit it
Batman Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 reckon Schteve could be in trouble up at newcastle losing 4-1
Leicestersaint Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 Yoshida is really poor in this position - misses tackles all the time
Saint Matty 76 Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 The selection didn't make Wanyama as bad as he was for the first 25 minutes or so though did it? Bloke doesn't want to be here. So why play him? Romeu and Clasie couldn't have done worse.
Batman Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 WHAT THE FUK WAS TADIC DOING has to score there
doddisalegend Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 So why play him? Romeu and Clasie couldn't have done worse. Saving Clasie for the cup
Mr X Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 tadic should have buried that wont get a better chance!
Saint Charlie Posted 28 November, 2015 Posted 28 November, 2015 Tadic should have started! Always look more likely to score with him playing.
