Let's put the nations security and authority on the global stage at risk to take in 3000 children and potentially encourage loads more to make the dangerous journey. Good idea soggy.

Because we are spending a huge amount money on a nuclear deterrent that we will never use and not on helping innocents which will cost peanuts in comparsion. These are children. What are you worried about? That they might be terrorists?

I expect you are right and that many, if not all, would need special care. But there is a big difference in an open door policy and taking care of 3000 children who have lost their parents.

We've taken children and other migrants in, why focus on this particular group of children? I'm sure we will continue to take those in need from syria whilst avoiding doing something that would encourage more to come over here. It's been proven to be the correct tactic considering what happened after Germany let everyone in.

What is your problem by the way because most of your posts seem to be concerned with taking the p*ss out of people? Isnt that what is know as trolling? There are plenty of occasions where your name pops up alongside that of Hypos. In fact, if you recall, I did wonder on another thread whether you are both the same person and referred to you as a tag team. I am sure you remember. Because it hasn't happened here recently does mean it hasn't happened.

 

Thanks for pointing out what a question is so succinctly, Perhaps you could explain to Hypo what hyberbole is? Britain has a population of near-enough 70 million people and we're surrounded by water. Whilst being an island nation used to be a military advantage, it's now a massive handicap due to our complete and total reliance on food imports thanks to high pop. x less and less food produced on these shores.

 

If a Russia or China could successfully implement a blockade we'd have to surrender within weeks, utterly regardless of whatever conventional weaponry we have at our disposal.

 

Our only defence against that is having the ability to make St. Petersburg, Beijing, Moscow, Shanghai, Kazan and Guangzhou together with their inhabitants disappear and remain uninhabitable for a 100+ years.

 

Disarm the subs, you might as well completely disarm absolutely everything right down to the last SA-80's firing pin.

Thanks for the advice Gemmel. I am not sure what I have said here is nonsense but you are entitled to your view and I am sorry if I have wasted so much of your time. Perhaps if Hypo wasn't so obsessive this thread would be half the length but I will put him and Fry back on ignore so perhaps that will help.

Thanks Gemmel for your contribution. For a while I guessed he was doing it deliberately but it's hard to not come to the conclusion that he genuinely doesn't understand how this thread makes him look. Ah well.

I mentioned it twice because you said I was responding and I pointed out that you didn't either. Pining? Not really.

When people send me PMs I write back. You could have done so but didn't. I saw another post from you to someone else saying that you don't respond to PMs so it would appear that I am not the only person that you don't respond to.

If Hypo can find two I am sure it isn't beyond you to work it out.

I am not running away. I am still here. There is a difference between running away and hiding and choosing not to answer a question. As I said to your buddy, I am not on trial.

What I understand is that this thread would be half the length without your contributions. You have even done what you accuse me of on another thread and made stuff up. Not once have I said that Maidstone was like Cologne. I don't have a problem with how I come across on this thread because I have said nothing contentious. You on the other hand have followed me around like a bad smell. Why exactly? If you agree that the majority of Muslims and migrants are not a problem, do you feel it necessary to try and pick me up at almost every turn? If you agree with me all you have to say is that you agree with my point but disagree with the way I have made it. But no, you seem obsessed with point scoring to the extent that you even make things up yourself. You said earlier that there were a couple of posts which you thought were racist yet you didn't bother to pick up the posters on the content. Why is that when you have spent so much of your time picking me up on many of my posts? Is my posting style more of an issue for you than someone making racists comments? It would seem so. I asked if you had OCD because I know someone well who behaves like you and they had the condition. I am not trying to be funny but it would explain a lot.
