Yep, they sure are brave attacking unsuspecting groups of people. With the virus killing thousands then you have nutters like this roaming the streets it makes for very depressing times.

Fantastic news for various assorted twats though who can now use this to

a) blame Sadiq Khan because he's brown

b) take this as utter vindication that everything connected to Black Lives Matter is now totally invalidated because someone a bit foreign did this.  I mean, how dare they protest when this happens?

c) get awfully upset that every single person connected with BLM, anyone who dared to say a word about the history of black people in Britain, anyone who spoke up about injustice in the last three weeks hasn't immediately condemned this and been all over the TV getting furious with this Brown person. I mean its almost like the BLM people approve of this just we know that they definitely and wholeheartedly approve of paedophiles in Bradford. Where's that black historian with the bookcase now? He's not on BBC One now is he? Where is he?

Lastly, this clearly shows that until all brown people stop committing any crimes at all, ever, then they really really need to stop all these protests and stop fucking complaining.

White people don't protest and also commit no crimes, anywhere, ever. Let's see if there ever are any white paedophiles, but I think we all know there never will be.

It's a disgrace, it's a disgrace, its a disgrace.

There you go chaps, I've written all that shite so you don't have to.

A black man get wrongly killed in America and it starts worldwide protests and weeks of reaction with statues pulled down and even programs 40 years old removed from the telly. A Libyan kills three innocent people in a park and we get told not to make any assumptions with it barely getting a mention on here other than to preempt any suggestion that someone might mention he’s foreign.

Spot on CB

Just so I understand your viewpoint...

A black man is murdered by a Policeman in USA - Protests, riots, violence, taking a knee, BLM on the back of every football shirt, calls to defund the Police, anyone who isn't outraged is 'part of the problem'.

Three more innocent people are murdered in Britain in the name of a middle Eastern death cult fantasy - How dare anybody be upset by this!

Basically yours and Fry's reaction is akin to watching the Floyd Police video, then going up to a bunch of black people and saying, "FFS! You awful, awful people, do you know how much sh*t the whites are going to face in retaliation to this!"

People blame Sadiq Khan for things because he's useless not because of the colour of his skin.

And this is nothing to do with the organisation BLM.

People have died. we have a man who was charged with carrying a knife in 2019 and got fined a paltry £115. a man who was jailed for assaulting an emergency worker. People are upset that that man managed to end three lives.

This is simply an abhorent crime, why are YOU trying to make everything about Race?

Perhaps Reading could have the victims names on their shirts next game. Would be a nice gesture, can’t see why anyone would object.

Why, what more can be said? More senseless killings by another deluded individual. The only issue is when not if this is going to happen again.

The only plus side is that they have caught him alive and he will end up locked away, looking over his shoulder every day.

Uh-oh.

Could be terror related, could just be a complete nutter.  No doubt the police will cop some flack for killing the suspect though.

  1. Police are dealing with a "serious incident" which has shut down part of Glasgow city centre
  2. Police confirm six people are being treated in hospital for injuries, including a police officer in a 'critical but stable' condition
  3. Police Scotland also confirm the suspect has been shot dead
  4. First Minister Nicola Sturgeon says the reports are "truly dreadful" and urges people to stay away from area
  5. There is a heavy police presence on West George Street with more than a dozen police vehicles at the scene.

BBC article reporting it was outside a hotel for asylum seekers. Seems an odd thing to highlight unless it's relevant to the killer's identity.

I imagine they have taken the word of Mr Gibson, eyewitness :

Quote

Eyewitness Stuart Gibson, who lives on West George Street near the Park Inn Hotel where the incident happened, told BBC News 24 he saw people getting evacuated from the hotel after police set up a barricade around the area.

"Armed police rushed into the hotel, it made it look as if they were looking for something," he said. "There was certainly one person who was carried out by police."

Mr Gibson, who observed the scene from a window, said police had not evacuated any other buildings, but were not allowing anyone on to the street.

It is thought the Park Inn Hotel is currently being used to house asylum seekers.

"Since lockdown it looks like it has changed and been used more as a hostel; there have been groups of people sitting outside in the last couple of months," Mr Gibson added.

If you read Weston’s post you would understand the relevance.

You said "it's not terror related so it's of no interest to the usual suspects." surely it's pretty likely to be of less interest to a group of people participating in a thread specifically about terrorist attacks? I would have thought that was stating the obvious.

Amazingly quick and selfless thinking. A true hero.

I'm sure it will all come out, as 3 people have been arrested, but why on earth did they target the womens hospital I wonder?

Because he couldn't get near the Cathedral on Rememberance Sunday due to road closures ? The hospital is half a mile away, and IS have targetted maternity hospitals in Afghanistan and the Middle East, so possibly a secondary 'target of opportunity'.

Who can understand the mind of a religiously deluded fanatic ?

What I find interesting is how quickly the Police response led to arrests.

Because there are people out there who’ve been fanatically brainwashed to treat women with disdain and contempt.

Yep, fair points.

I guess I just lazily assumed because it was timed to coincide with remembrance services that it would be IRA-related, given that tensions are rising again following Brexit.

But I've seen the video now and realise it was a suicide bomber, and that's not their style at all so it's more likely IS.

Have to wait for more as it's reported I guess. Will be interesting to hear the cabbie's full story.
