JustMike Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 Guess the meeting I attended with Hants FA describing the law change was either a dream, or I mis-interpreted it;) mis-interpreted it ;-)
Gingeletiss Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 mis-interpreted it ;-) Sh*t....all those penaltys I gave, as well;)
whiteleySaint30 Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 not bad going forward, you taking the *iss? What has been good about it?
JustMike Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 Sh*t....all those penaltys I gave, as well;) arrgghhh, and there was me thinking i was going to be all alone on this page :-)
Thedelldays Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 i dont think I have seen us give the ball away needlessly so much...?
View From The Top Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 Absolute ******s bu what do we expect with a team of kids. Your a cu nt Lowe.
JustMike Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 i dont think I have seen us give the ball away needlessly so much...? its like they are just overwhelmed by them all.
RobM Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 not bad going forward, you taking the *iss? What has been good about it? The fact that a 10 man team consisting of 7 youth team players, can break away and get a shot in against Utd proves we haven't been terrible. We have had a few really good breaks, a few shots on goal, a few shots that have been dragged wide also. If we were as bad as you seem to make out, none of this would have happened. As always, we have not had the final touch or quality in shooting, but we have gotten forward well at times.
trousers Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 This is going to be the worst result for speeding up any regime change. It hasn't been a complete white wash and we held out with 10 men for a fair while. Lowe will herald it as a plucky performance and a demonstration that we are "heading in the right direction". A more humilating defeat would have been better for the club in terms of regime change. More of the same beckons after this.... IMHO of course
RobM Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 Apparently there has been some sort of incident outside the ground and Police are looking for witnesses
saint lard Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 i dont think I have seen us give the ball away needlessly so much...? Totally agree. Surely the first thing in a game against opposition as this is to atleast find your own teamate, this must of been stressed by the coaching staff from the off.
Saint Billy Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 not bad going forward, you taking the *iss? What has been good about it? Agreed, seems now that we not only watch ****e, we accept is as well.
WestSaint Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 The fact that a 10 man team consisting of 7 youth team players, including one of our strikers, can break away and get a shot in against Utd proves we haven't been terrible. RobM Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 what sort of incident? Not sure, they just announced it over the tannoy at St.Marys asking for witnesses
JustMike Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 Apparently there has been some sort of incident outside the ground and Police are looking for witnesses did it involve Lowe [-o

RobM Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 We have not even won a corner let alone had a shot on goal. It is pretty bad! We have had a shot on goal though. Let's not pretend this has been a good game for us, but we should at least acknowledge that we have had some brief, bright moments.
trousers Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 Not sure, they just announced it over the tannoy at St.Marys asking for witnesses Pehaps someone heard a shot outside the ground....we've had none inside....

Probably would have been better if we had totally caved in. KD definately MOTM
TopGun Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 We have had a shot on goal though. Let's not pretend this has been a good game for us, but we should at least acknowledge that we have had some brief, bright moments. It hasn't been a disaster at all.

Absolutely, the defence in particular has been a huge cause for concern. I don't think it's been any worse than usual, but just highlighted by an excellent team.
theboycheese Posted 4 January, 2009 Posted 4 January, 2009 Pehaps someone heard a shot outside the ground....we've had none inside.... Wasnt a United fan put in hospital when we played them last?

Dont get me wrong, it is not the kids fault, but I have seen nothing bright about this display what so ever.

It's uninspiring drudgery. United have been playing at about 50% since the second goal and we've been awful. We had one good chance from Smith's run. That is it.
