Weekend 24/25 Oct - Other Games

Some good games on offer today.

Leicester v Palace on paper looks like a cracker

Thought Leicester were superb in the 2nd half last week

Villa v Swansea. Two managers under pressure. Tactics Tim more than anyone. Could be his last game if they lose.

West Ham v Chelsea. West Ham are having a great start. Better away from home but for once, I think I would like them to win. Jose is acting like a ****ing prat. His obsession with Wenger is absolutely embarrassing for him.

then on to 3 big games sunday

will probably see Rooney plod around the pitch, slow Man U down and the media will still tell us how brilliant and vital he is to united/england

LOLOLOL

chelsea down to 10 men after having a goal ruled out

no doubt Mourinho will blame the ref

Chelsea have one of their coaches sent to the stands...again, all right decisions from the officials

The man is a lunatic, reports he tried to get into the referee's room at half time to presumably shout at him.

He actually believes his own propaganda.

Heard a few people suggest on the radio that he is angling for the sack and the pay off would be huge.

certainly acting like it

Almost at the point where Chelsea have to be glad that there are 3 terrible teams, and one unlucky one below them......

When was the last time I "big club" got relegated from a top division (European included) without any financial problems?

They won't be getting relegated.

The title has probably gone, but still be in the chase for fourth.

Finished above them and got relegated , that's never going to happen again .

The biggest myth about that season is the Denis Law back heel . It certainly didn't send them down as results elsewhere relegated them anyway .

Bloody annoying at the time that we were the first team to be caught by the 3-down relegation rule.

Just watching MOTD, a cracking finish by Vardy.

He fully deserves to start up top for England next month

I wonder if woy will allow it though. Kane and Sturridge play for bigger clubs

A dreadful rooney has to be shoe-horned in somewhere

A bit like the Pompey myth about them sending us down at West Brom.

They really need to reconsider this "penalty and automatic red card" thing because it's such an extreme punishment. It was meant to cut out the deliberate professional foul but it's gone way beyond that.

Coloccini's challenge wasn't that far from what used to be viewed as "shoulder-to-shoulder with the ball within playing distance", and the keeper was well-placed to collect it anyway.

Now they're a goal down and a man down in a very big game.

And it's Madley again.

I've never understood it when a pen is awarded . A goal scoring opportunity was not denied as they had one from the spot with only the keeper to beat . Unless it's a blatant " save " on the line like Suarez or outside the area it should be pen and only a yellow . The chance from the spot was much easier than Fletchers , as he still had a lot to do if he wasn't fouled . Pen and off is too severe .
