SO16_Saint Posted 22 October, 2015 Posted 22 October, 2015 What's your nut of choice? Went to Aldi (or was it Lidl) in Totton the other day and they had loose Pistachio nuts and I got a massive bag, about £5 worth and think I'm addicted.
The Kraken Posted 22 October, 2015 Posted 22 October, 2015 Honey roasted cashews. Pistachios. Macadamias.
Coxford_lou Posted 22 October, 2015 Posted 22 October, 2015 I like all nuts. But I would particularly single out pistachios and cashews for special treatment.
Kingsland Red Posted 22 October, 2015 Posted 22 October, 2015 Honey roasted cashews, smoked almonds and pecan nuts
Goatboy Posted 22 October, 2015 Posted 22 October, 2015 My lips are swelling up just reading this thread.
buctootim Posted 22 October, 2015 Posted 22 October, 2015 My lips are swelling up just reading this thread. Hmm. Now I've got the method, I just need a reason to kill you.
Trader Posted 22 October, 2015 Posted 22 October, 2015 Goatboy - I also have a nut allergy, but I am not allergic to cashews or pistachios, because...... They're NOT NUTS. HTH
Whitey Grandad Posted 22 October, 2015 Posted 22 October, 2015 Roast monkey nuts please. Or giant peanuts.
TwoPints Posted 22 October, 2015 Posted 22 October, 2015 Just plain old salted KP nuts for me. I like to eat the half ones first by sucking the salt off them then eating the nut and when all the half's have gone, I start on the whole ones.

ecuk268 Posted 23 October, 2015 Posted 23 October, 2015 Almonds. Many years ago when I used to walk to infants school, I used to pass a house with an almond tree in their front garden. We used pick up the fallers and I've liked them ever since.
trousers Posted 23 October, 2015 Posted 23 October, 2015 Why are some people talking about legumes when the thread title is 'nuts'? I always have nuts on Boxing Day.
