eelpie Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Matt Paterson Well if he's good enough for Rangers, he should be one for the future here. We always let potential stars go for peanuts, then regret it.
ART Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Harry Redknapp's reported being sick of Gareth Bale and wants to release him saying he'll be a good player some day but he needs real men. If Michael Wilde's got any decency left in him he could do worse than arrange for us to bring Bale back on loan till the end of the season, footing his salary from his own nest egg.

What a terrific loan signing that would be. No chance.

Matt SFC Posted 13 January, 2009 Posted 13 January, 2009 Tommy Rowe - young and very talented. Will go cheaply as well as Stockport are in financial trouble. Our loss will be someone elses gain
Rusaldo Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 according to the sun today darren purse has been told he can leave cardiff on a free with charlton interested. could be worth an 18 month deal?
krissyboy31 Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 according to the sun today darren purse has been told he can leave cardiff on a free with charlton interested. could be worth an 18 month deal? Would be good but doubt he'd come here for what we would be prepared to pay.
bigchrisy Posted 15 January, 2009 Posted 15 January, 2009 A few ideas: Ade ankinbyi Jack wilshire Leanardre Griffit Darren Byfield Mehdi Nafti Richard Duffy (has been told he can leave pompey)
southamptonfclegend Posted 18 January, 2009 Posted 18 January, 2009 Would be good but doubt he'd come here for what we would be prepared to pay. surely if hes linked with Charlton who are poor as fook we could afford him, the signs of how poor they are is that they appointed Phil Parkinson....
ottery st mary Posted 21 January, 2009 Posted 21 January, 2009 (edited) Troy Archibald-Henville age 20 A Spurs player on one month loan to Exeter. Played very well according to mate and newspapers for Exeter 2-1 v Dagenham 20th Jan. Very quick strong and wins all headers. Tall centre back but quick. Paul Tisdale another astute signing/loan. Could we swap Forecast for this lad. Tisdale described debut of this lad. Good composure on the ball. Real quality.Good in the air and quick to recover when he had to. A rock in defence. Not a reserve game but against a big robust side..like CCC and you have to fight fire with fire. What is up with our scouts? Tisdale will try to increase the length of the loan, now. Edited 21 January, 2009 by ottery st mary spelling..... sorry
AJ09 Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 What about Lucas Jutkiewicz? Young striker at Everton, they signed him for over a million pre-season. He was tipped as a good prospect but he isnt getting a look in, even with there striker crisis. He's from Southampton so i reckon he'd be game!
AJ09 Posted 23 January, 2009 Posted 23 January, 2009 Giovani Dos Santos Whats all this Dos Santos talk?? He wouldnt join us in a million years.
ottery st mary Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 Gosling from Plymouth to Everton...Very highly rated and good for a loan to Saints.

brightspark Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 We should look at taking some A-League players at the end of their season who want to keep their fitness up. Dutchman Sergio Van Dijk would be awesome for a couple of months after the Queensland Roar have finished with him. This by no means is a possibility for happening, just a suggestion that we won't bother pursuing.
Saint Martini Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Sergio van Dijk?! He's ****e! Couldn't cut it in the Dutch PL so why would he be good in the CCC.
brightspark Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Sergio van Dijk?! He's ****e! Couldn't cut it in the Dutch PL so why would he be good in the CCC. he was sh*t for the first half of the season but has hit 9 in his last 8 games. How i'd love McGoldrick to do that...
ottery st mary Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Isn't he on loan at Plymouth? Shame, I missed his loan back...some say he is quite good. Then that is why Everton have taken him from Plymouth in the first place.

del boy Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 Newcastle are also interested in Rennes right-back Rod Fanni, as are Aston Villa and a number of other Premier League clubs. (Telegraph) Would make a great signing at right back - if only for the craic
TijuanaTim Posted 30 January, 2009 Posted 30 January, 2009 He was good once??? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11719_4868251,00.html
skintsaint Posted 30 January, 2009 Posted 30 January, 2009 he was sh*t for the first half of the season but has hit 9 in his last 8 games. How i'd love McGoldrick to do that... To be fair mate me or you could play up front in the A-League and score goals. Dont think there is anyone in the league at the moment who would actually improve our squad significantly.

rooney Posted 30 January, 2009 Posted 30 January, 2009 Any big unskilled striker with a name like Aygabenni, as someone of this ilk always scores against us.
