The Cat Posted 10 October, 2015 Share Posted 10 October, 2015 Is all about Steven Davis this morning. Praised for being humble and kind in a sport that is full of greed. He's probably as close to Jesus as anyone in Northern Ireland right now.
whelk Posted 10 October, 2015 Share Posted 10 October, 2015 So was the thought that we all should think of him and try and be like him? And I hope they mentioned under rated?
The Cat Posted 10 October, 2015 Author Share Posted 10 October, 2015 Sadly no mention of him being under rated, more that he is a bit unknown because he goes about his life in a normal way and shuns the limelight. Also praised him for living in a relatively normal house, not being flash and happily taking time out to chat to a group of lads and give them advice on their football. austsaint Posted 10 October, 2015 Share Posted 10 October, 2015 Comes across as a down to earth character with humility and a complete lack of ego. Throw in the fact that he's a more than decent, high energy mid-fielder and you start to realise what a good signing he's been.

Yes but it doesn't matter that he's a level headed decent bloke who is a decent box to box midfielder who speaks to the kids, or that he can feed thousands with a few loaves or fishes in his spare time. Does he run round like a headless chicken and clap the fans ? He's no match for this fella: Prutton of Nazereth.
