The Manu game is finally here.

Last night I was thinking back to all the great cup games I have been to over the years, especially our great cup run of 1984,I went to every game and loved every minute.

Some of you would have been too young, some not even born, but if you are about my age you will look back and remember what a great run that was, what a great year that was and what some great players we had.

I wasn't looking forward to the game today because all of the sh1t that surrounds this club,I was was happy for the kids as they don't get to see the quality of football I did as a kid growing up in the 70's,but this morning I woke up realizing and remembering exactly why I love this club.

Things are are tough for us at the moment but they will improve one day, hopefully it will be today:-)

Whatever the outcome of today's game, just enjoy it,we don't get many of these games anymore so make the most of it.

Looking at some of the results yesterday gives us some hope, just look at forest and southend......... We might just get lucky.

Come on you red and White machine

just hope every kid feels like i did in 63 , against united at The Dell.

Saints, a second division side, my heroes playing the great Man United.

Yeah he lost 3-2 but were two up at half time , looking back that game was what really started by "loveaffair" with SFC.

fOR THE afternoon i intend to forget SLH and remember SFC

i WOULD encourage every Saints fan who is going to get behind the lads and SING YOUR HEARTS OUT.

Yeah we are crap but IT IS OUR CRAP, MY CITY and the plastic Mancs can stuff their superior bull**** up their *********

Dammit, woke up with a buzz as well this morning. Haven't felt this way for a long time. I know what will happen, but still just for a moment we are back in a global spotlight and everyone expects us to get battered, but just for a moment for a few minutes it's all about that FA Cup magic.

And after that reality can bite again

Good luck lads

Felt exactly the same, but like you woke up this morning, thought of some pints with mates beforehand and am pleasantly surprised that I'm now quite looking forward to the match.

A temporary respite from the shiyt we are in.
