Also he is suspected of making a "disloyal payment" of two million Swiss dollars to Michel Platini made for work performed between Jan 1999 and June 2002. Hmmmm.

Compare him to the Volkswagen chief who accepted responsibility as the man in charge and did the honourable thing ! Clearly only time will tell if he himself is proven to be corrupt but the fact that he has presided over an organisation riddled with scandal and controversy should have been enough for him to stand down and allow a proper external investigation to take place, the fact that he hasn't is quite a damning indictment in itself !!

I think a thorough investigation was made by an American? / Mexican? lawyer...who wrote a damning report...which FIFA censored and only published a part of ..

He doesn't seem to be " squeaky clean " - but obviously has powerful contacts who protect him...

They are all damned with him so no one is going to break ranks unless they are the subject of powerful persuasion like chuck Warner is.
