I guess it was just a matter of time but they have now got around to opening a criminal investigation on him. Also he is suspected of making a "disloyal payment" of two million Swiss dollars to Michel Platini made for work performed between Jan 1999 and June 2002. Hmmmm.

The guy has no shame and should have fallen on his sword months (maybe even years) ago !

Compare him to the Volkswagen chief who accepted responsibility as the man in charge and did the honourable thing !

Clearly only time will tell if he himself is proven to be corrupt but the fact that he has presided over an organisation riddled with scandal and controversy should have been enough for him to stand down and allow a proper external investigation to take place, the fact that he hasn't is quite a damning indictment in itself !!

Bumbling fool or underworld mastermind? Either way he should not be the most powerful man in football. I find it hard to believe that he hasn't been compliant in the corruption but then stranger things have happened.

Got to admire the old goats determination to stay in charge.

A slight whiff of anything about anyone else and they are gone.

Blatter is in the mire, Coca Cola and McDonald's now say he must resign immediately but he remains.!!!

They could bring the issue to a head immediately by inviting the bent old git to personally attend a meeting in New York to review their ongoing sponsorship.

I think a thorough investigation was made by an American? / Mexican? lawyer...who wrote a damning report...which FIFA censored and only published a part of ..:suspicious:

I'm sure something /someone will come up against him...in time. He doesn't seem to be " squeaky clean " - but obviously has powerful contacts who protect him...

Part of the problem is that everyone working at FIFA in a position of influence owes their position to him in some way. They are all damned with him so no one is going to break ranks unless they are the subject of powerful persuasion like chuck Warner is.
