angelman Posted 23 September, 2015 Share Posted 23 September, 2015 Good on him. Was great seeing him arrive at SMS. Just think it **** poor of the PL clubs and players not to have dipped into their pockets to get that total a lot higher.

ericofarabia Posted 24 September, 2015 Share Posted 24 September, 2015 (edited) They must be to walk that far Even more amazing is the fact that he RAN on average 50 miles a day. 2 Marathons a day ..... absolutely incredible. Also as mentioned above, an utter disgrace that more (any?) money wasn't donated by each of The Prem Clubs he visited. A very worthy winner of the award. Well done Franny. ericofarabia Posted 24 September, 2015 Share Posted 24 September, 2015 (edited) 'Every step has been worth it to come home. This is home,' Benali said at half-time during Southampton's 4-0 romp against Newcastle. 'The pain and discomfort I've experienced on this challenge has been quite often and quite difficult and tough, but I've had my wife and children and my support team have been absolutely increible. They've kept me going. 'The pain that I've experienced is nothing compared to anyone goes through to see a loved one either suffering from cancer or dying from cancer, so I want to help try and help bring an end to cancer. Such wonderful words at the end of a gruelling 21 days that he had just endured. Here's a clip of what he put himself through .... not a dry eye in the house. ringwood Posted 24 September, 2015 Share Posted 24 September, 2015 Hope the club recognise this award on the big screens at the Swansea game and that the crowd chant Frannies name loud and clear
