East Kent Saint Posted 21 September, 2015 Share Posted 21 September, 2015 iOS9 now has pop up blocker , turn that on ! There was a ad blocker app which blocked all ad links thus speeding up downloads when browsing but that has been withdrawn by the coder who wrote it saying it was too much money to earn for so little work !!!! (another Gaston obs) There is an ad blocker app still available for iphone to try etc
thesaint sfc Posted 22 September, 2015 Share Posted 22 September, 2015 Tapatalk really is the shi te's app I have ever used. How they've managed to make such a simple concept so complicated is beyond me. Big gap in the market.
BlakeySFC Posted 22 September, 2015 Share Posted 22 September, 2015 Simple way to solve your problems, throw your sh!tty Apple phone in the bin, go out and buy a different phone, problem solved.

Surman4no7shirt Posted 22 September, 2015 Share Posted 22 September, 2015 It only pops up everytime if you're using private browsing. Turn private browsing off and it should only come up the first time. Private browsing doesn't load the cookies that say "No I don't want tapatalk". Surman4no7shirt Posted 22 September, 2015 Share Posted 22 September, 2015 I don't think you have a workaround then, unless you use another browser like Chrome or Opera without private browsing just for Saints Web. Although, I think in Opera there is also the option to appear as if you are using a desktop computer rather than a smartphone, in which case it shouldn't pop-up even in private browsing mode. The new OS9 pop-up blocker doesn't get rid of it in private browsing.
Surman4no7shirt Posted 22 September, 2015 Share Posted 22 September, 2015 Just checked in Opera Mini (free on the AppStore) and you can go to settings in the App (not from the Apple settings app, but in the Opera Mini App itself by clicking on the red "O") and change the User Agent to "Desktop" then launch a private window, and it doesn't pop-up. Surman4no7shirt Posted 23 September, 2015 Share Posted 23 September, 2015 You can also turn JavaScript off in the Safari settings, but that's a bit like taking a bazooka to a mosquito (lots of videos etc in other websites wouldn't work).

Surman4no7shirt Posted 24 September, 2015 Share Posted 24 September, 2015 Just use Opera Mini instead of Safari in private browsing with the agent set as desktop as I described then!
