Guan 2.0 Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Back defence with Martina, Caulker, Targett starting. JWP and Davis as CM's. If they can't beat that team, ship out and replace in Jan.
Roo1976 Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 on that display theres no leadership nor passion about us this year, relegation battle Leicester are the new Southampton this season.
Dalek2003 Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 We need to concenentrate on securing our place in the Premier League this season...(said with a touch of irony)
Saint Billy Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 We will get dicked if we play with Yoshi and Martina in defence ..... (said with a touch of realism).
lickierambert Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Stek Cedric-Yoshida-Caulker-Targett Romeu-JWP Juanmi-Tadic-Rodriguez Long
nta786 Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Please don't underestimate this- MK Dons beat United 4-0 last season ffs. Stekelenburg Cedric Fonte/Van Dijk Caulker Targett Romeu Reed Tadic Juanmi Jay Rod Pelle Bench: Gazza, Fonte/Van Dijk, Yoshida, Mane, Long, JWP, Wanyama Bertrand instead of Yoshida maybeeee
Saints foreva Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 2-0 MK Dons. Against a fairly strong Saints side.
niceandfriendly Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 We'll lose this miserably and then sneak a 1-0 win against Swansea.
Saint Garrett Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Steklenberg Cedric Fonte Van Dijk Targett Reed Wanyama Mane Juanmi JRod Pelle
JRM Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 We need to concenentrate on securing our place in the Premier League this season...(said with a touch of irony) Can someone infect this c$nts laptop with a virus to stop him posting, it's beyond tedious and he clearly isn't a saints fan.
CB Fry Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Can someone infect this c$nts laptop with a virus to stop him posting, it's beyond tedious and he clearly isn't a saints fan. He genuinely thinks he is hilarious.
Saint Charlie Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Should have enough to win this quite comfortably with the likes of Rodriguez, Juanmi, Long, Davis, Caulker, Yoshida, Cedric etc all likely to play you would think.
Dalek2003 Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 He genuinely thinks he is hilarious. Just like you genuinely think you are clever.
Harry_SFC Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 I'd rather not see Steven Davis and JWP in the same 11 again if I'm honest. Just doesn't work.
Wrensup Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Just like you genuinely think you are clever.
Roger Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 I'd rather not see Steven Davis and JWP in the same 11 again if I'm honest. Just doesn't work. This.
CB Fry Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Just like you genuinely think you are clever. Don't forget to do exactly the same joke another ten times this week. Hey, a league cup tie is always a great time to do it several times, like you have done for every round of every cup for more than a decade. Win or lose it's a comedy goldmine for someone doing the same joke over and over again. Fill your boots. And next weekend you can start all over again, doing exactly the same joke again and again. And again and again. Have a great time now.
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 I'd rather not see Steven Davis and JWP in the same 11 again if I'm honest. Just doesn't work. This twice
benjii Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 ---------------------Gazza--------------------------- Cedric------Fonte----Caulker-------Martina -----------------Romeu--Davis-------------------- JWP--------------Juanmi---------------Rodriguez ------------------------Long------------------------ Bench: KD, Yoshi, Reed, Mane, Pelle, Seager, Tadic
tpbury Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Anyway, I'm over from oz and intend to go to this match. I'm thinking that I should be able to walk up for a ticket. Anyway know any different? (I walked 5 miles to find a friggin pub with sky sports to watch a pretty crap 2nd half display despite a decently worked goal to give us a chance at the end. Didn't realise there's so few pubs showing sky these days...)
Saint Garrett Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Last season at Millwall..... Forster Clyne Fonte Yoshi Targett Wanyama Davis JWP Isgrove Pelle Long I wouldn't expect many changes on Weds, Koeman clearly wants to win a trophy.
Batman Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 if juanmi cant get a game in this, may as well give up
marc_saint Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Bought my ticket today and the ticket number on my online account is 3586 which correspondes to the amount of tickets sold so far. Pretty decent for a midweek away game Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Lighthouse Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 I would go with: Stek Cedric - VVD - Caulker - Targett Wanyama - Romeu JWP - Juanmi - Tadic J Rod If Juanmi doesn't play a large portion of this game, I'll be a bit miffed as to his signing.
Sour Mash Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 At £12 a ticket why would it be hard to believe? Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk 3 hours drive from Southampton midweek, for an early League Cup game. We won't have more than 2k there.
The Cat Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Karl Robinson doesn't care about the game so they'll probably rest a few http://www.onemk.co.uk/sport/football/mk-dons/2015/9/karl-robinson-insists-he-doesnt-care-about-southampton-game-with-derby-county-following-so-soon-190920150046.html
The Cat Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 It'll be rammed in the away concourse on Wednesday, just like this from yesterday
jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 Wouldn't expect pelle or vvd to play. Pelle picked up a knock and vvd gave impression he had groin injury rather than just cramp when he walked off the pitch after getting treatment. Jrod, long and juanmi will start I would imagine.

According to the pink none of their saints connections should be able to play with Darren Potter, Cody Cropper and Ben Reeves out injured and Sam Gallagher unable to feature against his parent club. I'll go for a 2-0 win but frustrating first hour 0-0 at half time. Tempting to play our first choice defence to give them more match practice communicating with each other.

Absolutely this Cedric Fonte VVD Targett need as much time together as possible. Would expect Caulker to come in though.
Donatello Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 (edited) ----------Stek---------- Cedric Fonte VVD Targett ------JWP----Reed----- Hesketh--JRod--Juanmi ----------Long---------- That midfield is probably too weak, but given the above mentioning of a weak MKDons side I'd give it a go. Alternatively, start with Romeu in place of Reed, who can replace Romeu depending on the first 45-60 mins. Edited 21 September, 2015 by Donatello
Bucks Saint Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 3 hours drive from Southampton midweek, for an early League Cup game. We won't have more than 2k there. You think all saints fans still live in Southampton? Games like this are often easier to attend than home league matches, for some.
100%Red&White Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 It's only taken around 2 hours before going A34 to Oxford/Bicester then past Buckingham to MK, stadium that side of town. Looks like they split away fans between upper and lower tiers now, that never helps with creating a decent atmosphere, although good numbers will travel.
The9 Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 2500 of them are probably people buying tickets to get an extra away game but won't go. I know a few who have done it. I stopped caring about that one night in Denmark last month.
Pat from Poole Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 My tickets are lower tier. No idea if that means we've sold out the upper tier.
Sour Mash Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 You think all saints fans still live in Southampton? Games like this are often easier to attend than home league matches, for some. No, I obviously don't. We won't have 4,000 there on Weds.
Whitey Grandad Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 I stopped caring about that one night in Denmark last month. Likewise. I was thinking of going but then I had a word with myself and wiser counsel prevailed.
Griffo Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 Looking forward to this. Cups are all we've really got to play for this year so fingers crossed we can get a good run in it. Shame if we're split over 2 tiers though. Hard enough to get any atmosphere going in that ground as it is.
brett24 Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 Got to play our first choice team, need to build confidence: Stek, Cedric, Fonte, Van Djik, Targett/Yoshi, Wanyama, Romeu, Ward Prowse, Pelle, (Tadic / Juanmi or JRod), Mane
Window Cleaner Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 Got to play our first choice team, need to build confidence: Stek, Cedric, Fonte, Van Djik, Targett/Yoshi, Wanyama, Romeu, Ward Prowse, Pelle, (Tadic / Juanmi or JRod), Mane I bet we don't.
saint97 Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 Stekelenburg Cedric Yoshida Caulker Targett Romeu Reed JWP Juanmi Jay Rod Long Will play a fairly strong side and win by 2 or 3 in my opinion. Need a good cup run this year to slightly make up for the horror show in Europe.
Batman Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 Stek Cedric Caulker VvD Martina/targett Rom Reed Davis Juanmi Long Jrod
Pancake Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 First team or don't ****ing bother at all imho. We saw yesterday that they need to get to know each other's games.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 2-0 MK Dons. Against a fairly strong Saints side. Why do you bother with Saints, you rarely have anything positive to say..perhaps its attention seeking...
Gorgiesaint Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 First team or don't ****ing bother at all imho. We saw yesterday that they need to get to know each other's games. This. They need to build some confidence ahead of Swansea at the weekend.
