Mr X Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 that's a pretty amazing stat And we wonder why the club has never been managerially stable, we had a trigger happy chairman & in some ways another one after that
Shandy_Top_89 Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 And we wonder why the club has never been managerially stable, we had a trigger happy chairman & in some ways another one after that To be fair it works both ways, successful managers have been poached within two seasons (admittedly that only applies to Poch and Hoddle in our case)
Batman Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 To be fair it works both ways, successful managers have been poached within two seasons (admittedly that only applies to Poch and Hoddle in our case) throw in daft appointments like Wigley and Sturrock
whelk Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 It's not actually compulsory to read any tweets. I lasted a solid three days on twitter and a bigger bunch of c*nts I've never seen. But where else would I find Connor armstrong trawling to find some mad opinion if a fan of some club and then retweet and post counter arguments as if he is arguing with mainstream opinions. Not to mention vines of Ronaldo skill with #tekkers. Come to think of it you may be right

Whitey Grandad Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Why would anybody need to leak this information? Any contract discussions would normally be kept private. I suspect ulterior motives.
sadoldgit Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 throw in daft appointments like Wigley and Sturrock Sturrock was recommended to the club by Gordon Strachan and was seen as a good appointment at the time.
sadoldgit Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Let's remember that no Saints manager since Dave Jones has managed two full seasons with us. If Koeman completes this season it will be a good step forward in stability and if he does all three seasons he is contracted for I will be delighted. Nigel Adkins and George Burley if you add up the part seasons too?
sadoldgit Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 (edited) If you look at the number of games managed it goes like this- plus win % in brackets for interest Jones 113 (32.74) Strachan 110 (35.45) Burley 109 (41.28 ) Adkins 124 (54.03) Edited 20 September, 2015 by sadoldgit
VectisSaint Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Nigel Adkins and George Burley if you add up the part seasons too? Exactly why Kenilworthy said two full seasons...
Batman Posted 20 September, 2015 Posted 20 September, 2015 Sturrock was recommended to the club by Gordon Strachan and was seen as a good appointment at the time. by who? he was always destined to fail
