John Boy Saint Posted 18 September, 2015 Share Posted 18 September, 2015 With 3 days elapsed since posting and no replies. All I can offer is, it's near the sea, the Airport is nice, and if you drive the hire car like you stole it you can get to La Manga resort in an hour. The9 Posted 18 September, 2015 Share Posted 18 September, 2015 I went in 2003, in January. It was warm enough to go on the beach. Nice marina, I'd be surprised if the Coyote Ugly bar at the far end of it was still open but it was a good laugh at the time. There is a bus to the airport running from the beach front. I was there for about a week, you can tell me and the missus weren't getting on.

I never had Richard Keys, WGS, King Kenny, and Lee Sharpe down has Twocers!!! I will give then a wide berth on the North Course and keep my beady eye on them in the Car Park!! scotty Posted 19 September, 2015 Share Posted 19 September, 2015 Are you going to alicante itself, or nearby? I know torrevieja very well, and a bit about santa pola and a few other towns down that bit of coastline.
thesaint sfc Posted 19 September, 2015 Author Share Posted 19 September, 2015 I'm based in Geneva with work at the moment and believe it or not they've asked me to move to Alicante. I'm just trying to find out if there are any recommended residence style places. The new office is going to be in the Alicante marina area. I'd like to go there any make minimum commitment to the place before I see if it works out or not. A residence (a ****ty hotel with your own simple kitchen) seems the best way to go - but as it's in Spain and the Spanish are useless I can hardly find out anything online.
