TK8267 Posted 8 September, 2015 Posted 8 September, 2015 Seems like some of the biggest changes they've made to the game in a while!
Mattio Posted 9 September, 2015 Posted 9 September, 2015 The draft mode looks really fun! Just need to get a few friends to actually play FM!

sambosa75 Posted 10 September, 2015 Posted 10 September, 2015 MLG, my nephew is a scholar at Saints. Will he be on the game this season? If so, any chance of bumping up his PA? I plan to build the side around him.

Matthew Le God Posted 11 September, 2015 Author Posted 11 September, 2015 Why are we waiting...... So long to go Literally, I want this game now. Pre-order from participating retailers and you'll get a copy of the Football Manager Documentary and Beta access before the game is released.
Matthew Le God Posted 16 September, 2015 Author Posted 16 September, 2015 MLG, my nephew is a scholar at Saints. Will he be on the game this season? If he'd like to have a more accurate profile, can you ask him to follow me on Twitter @matthewlegod and direct message me some info.
sambosa75 Posted 18 September, 2015 Posted 18 September, 2015 If he'd like to have a more accurate profile, can you ask him to follow me on Twitter @matthewlegod and direct message me some info. What info do you need?
Jimmy_D Posted 21 September, 2015 Posted 21 September, 2015 Probably too late for this year's edition, but what I'd really like to see is an estimate of what the clauses and bonuses will cost when you're negotiating contracts, maybe based on the previous season's performance, or an average of the last three seasons maybe.
Matthew Le God Posted 28 October, 2015 Author Posted 28 October, 2015 The beta is now live for those that pre-ordered from participating retailers. If I take a while to answer questions it'll be because I only have 3 posts per day on this forum.
Fabrice29 Posted 30 October, 2015 Posted 30 October, 2015 Kelvin Davis transfer listed when you start seems odd.
Lorne Malvo Posted 30 October, 2015 Posted 30 October, 2015 You know its not good when you save and exit after 20mins as you get bored, due to it feeling the same as the last version :/
Matthew Le God Posted 30 October, 2015 Author Posted 30 October, 2015 Kelvin Davis transfer listed when you start seems odd. You can quite easily unlist him if you want. The game's AI deems him surplus to requirements as he is significantly weaker than what is needed for a Premier League keeper. You know its not good when you save and exit after 20mins as you get bored, due to it feeling the same as the last version :/ There are a huge number of changes and improvements compared to FM15, but it is always going to be a game where you manage a football club so will have similarities with every other football management game. It is essentially simulating a job of a football manager and that job is fundamentally similar from year to year. What would you need for a football management game not to feel like one released 12 months earlier?
Matthew Le God Posted 14 November, 2015 Author Posted 14 November, 2015 The full game is now live and the free demo is on Steam.
ozzmeister Posted 25 November, 2015 Posted 25 November, 2015 I am doing very well in the mobile lite version (won the League in my first season). Whilst this was fun perhaps slightly unrealistic (or I'm just amazing). Also the wonderkid 'scouter' is great but feels like a bit of a cheat - it pretty much tells you the young players with the most potential, which kind of eliminates the fun of finding a gem through scouring lower leagues/foreign countries etc etc.
The9 Posted 1 December, 2015 Posted 1 December, 2015 You know its not good when you save and exit after 20mins as you get bored, due to it feeling the same as the last version :/ You mean like every version for about the last 15 years? I haven't bothered. I haven't actually played it for more than about 5 matches since 2005 anyway, just spent hours and hours creating players and teams and lower leagues, only for the game mechanics to not have anything inbuilt to prevent amateurs all changing clubs basically every year, despite this not actually happening IRL.
Colinjb Posted 11 December, 2015 Posted 11 December, 2015 Getting into this now. Hated it at the start as I couldn't figure out why my players were consistently underperforming..... and then you realise that you now have specific player position training. Much better.
Colinjb Posted 14 December, 2015 Posted 14 December, 2015 As an addendum, really wish Juanmi would be as good in reality as in this game.
