Saint-Armstrong Posted 6 September, 2015 Share Posted 6 September, 2015 'Died after a gunfight with his wife' doesn't sound how it'd be 'properly' entered, if that makes sense...?

Saint-Armstrong Posted 6 September, 2015 Share Posted 6 September, 2015 (edited) Just ran a search for news articles on the internet and the last thing that came up was an interview in which he said Mutu is a great player, on Aug 23rd. Nothing from his club and he's still listed there everywhere else, so looks like someone was just on a wind-up. VectisSaint Posted 6 September, 2015 Share Posted 6 September, 2015 The dinlo that made the changes couldn't even get the right, said he died on the 5th when he/she posted it on the 4th. Maybe it was Mystic Meg. Really pathetic. Wiki have fixed it anyway.

Apparently "originated" in USA street basketball in the 1980s (whatever that is). However the minor English literary figure W Shakespeare had previously used the phrase in Sonnet 112 (with apologies to David in Sweden).

Whitey Grandad Posted 7 September, 2015 Share Posted 7 September, 2015 "mea culpa". A flippant apology. Apparently "originated" in USA street basketball in the 1980s (whatever that is). However the minor English literary figure W Shakespeare had previously used the phrase in Sonnet 112 (with apologies to David in Sweden). Hardly a phrase, more like a couple of words amongst a load of others, indeed he used the couplet 'my bad, my good'. He might equally have said 'my bad tooth'. Anyway, it only took 400 years or so to catch on and there is no need for us to encourage its use. Is there any definitive news about our old mate Papa?
