VectisSaint Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 I know he's a Boscombe player now, but as an ex-Saint (and Chippenham lad) sad to see he has suffered similar injury to J-Rod and will miss the whole season. Still a shame to me that we released him, was clearly a talent when he played against us for Ipswich last season.
SuperSAINT Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 Yeah, gutted for the lad. Really good player by all accounts. Hope he makes a full recovery. Gradel is out for 6 months as well, isn't he?
simo Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 Think he did the same thing in his second game for Ipswich too!?
Saint86 Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 That is a shame, think he has/had amazing potential. So strong and fast with decent technique as well. Gave us the run around in the cup!
Batman Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 Mings and Gradel out for most/all of the season will hit bournemouth hard
the saint in winchester Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 Yes, do feel for Bournemouth and for the players involved. They invested well, spent a lot of money, and no-one can have seen this happening so soon.
beatlesaint Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 Very very bad luck, awful injury, wish him well.
S-Clarke Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 Awful news, he was such a top talent. Looking at the article it says he's done is ACL and medial. That's just horrific. Long road back from that.
Fan The Flames Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 Yes it's a shame foy Mings and AFCB. Did we have Mings and Ings in the same youth side.

Pastor Patrón Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 Wait, so their two record signings both tore their ACL's before the end of August?

Pastor Patrón Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 Sorry guys, didn't realise we're still doing the whole passive aggressive thing. Cute little club, best of luck to them and all that
The9 Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 FWIW I thought Mings was toss against us for Ipswich, seemed like a nice bloke though so shame for him.
The Kraken Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 FWIW I thought Mings was toss against us for Ipswich, seemed like a nice bloke though so shame for him. Agreed all round. I thought the transfer fee for him was incredible, I wasn't overly impressed with him. A terrible injury though that you'd wish on no-one, hope he recovers well. VectisSaint Posted 4 September, 2015 Author Share Posted 4 September, 2015 FWIW I thought Mings was toss against us for Ipswich, seemed like a nice bloke though so shame for him. He was head and shoulders their best outfield player at St Mary's, wonderful run and cross to make their goal. He was giving our right side a hard time before the goal (it was the game when JWP played right back). I really don't understand how you could think he was "toss" (assuming you mean the home game and not the replay). Only Wanyama got a better rating than he did (their keeper got the same). Still football is apparently all about opinions.
ART Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 He's a really top guy and have followed him on Twitter. Class how he's reacted to his accident. Am full of admiration. Tyrone Mings @OfficialTM_3 9h9 hours ago Very tough pill to swallow ... But I've been through tougher, it's only a knee at the end of the day. I'll be back
