Our club has no ambition and we're just looking to sell anything that isn't nailed down. We're a joke club and everyone is laughing at us.

In terms of the players they've kept recently. Baines isn't good enough for Top 4 (you can see that in his abject England performances) and is too old for the money they want, otherwise he would have gone. Barkley is too inconsistent for the money they want, as soon as he shows consistency - he'll be gone ala Stones.
