You can add Lescott, Arteta, Pienaar, Rodwell to the list of players that would have wanted to keep in recent times.

 

In terms of the players they've kept recently. Baines isn't good enough for Top 4 (you can see that in his abject England performances) and is too old for the money they want, otherwise he would have gone. Barkley is too inconsistent for the money they want, as soon as he shows consistency - he'll be gone ala Stones.

It's Everton's refusal to sell their talent that has seen them sky rocket in the premier league standings and appear as genuine contenders to the big six.

 

I think I will put a tenner on them finishing in the top four.

It seems we are getting rid of all the Pochettino stars.....in other words pretty much all the players brought in by the previous regime

 

I really don't think that the club has a policy of selling everyone brought in by the last manager.
