Would be extremely suprised if we sign Illarramendi, particularly with the other clubs looking at him. Watch a fair bit of La Liga and he has always impressed me, admittedly he normally comes on when Madrid are winning comfortably, but still. I imagine he would be looking for Champions League football, or an emotional return to Real Sociedad

The player we weren't ever interested in, fabricated by the Wanyama to Spurs agenda is having a medical at Real Sociedad. On to the next fabrication. RK "nobody is leaving" does it

for me. Maybe it's time for clubs to put the hammer down and get together to not allow transfers to EPL clubs after the season has started no matter the dates of the window. Is it 14 to get a rule through?

That's a very good suggestion. There's nothing that suggests we couldn't impose a window within the window. And we could just do it unilaterally.
